Great price, fair quality, mostly likely not for a professional, they may break down the road. I may break them too. These can be used and abused without tears when they break. They have a good edge, that surprisingly lasts longer than it should. Shipping was slow, handle has a good grip to it, on the smallest blade it appears to me that the last inch may have been welded on. Maybe stronger steel, or higher carbon steel I’m hoping, be it looks like a seem.

Worked well for the valve cover gasket and water pump gasket I needed to change. Wish they were a little shorter to improve access but VG for the price and quality. Good to have in the shop.

I have a favorite gasket scraper, a very short handled Snap-On from the 70’s that I dropped off the stern of my boat in the marina and could not get back with a fishing magnet for over a year. When it came back up the handle had absorbed water and turned into crumbly bits so I filled a film canister with resin and stood the scraper up in it creating the worlds most perfect palm-rest gasket scraper. It has the form factor to allow the application of considerable force through the palm but still provide the control to limit slipping and gouging up the work. The problem was though that I had only one of them and by tradition that lives on my boat. Enter this set. The long ones are not interesting to me, the long shafts make controlling the application of force more difficult, having such a long lever arm. The short one however I use all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. I even have a sharpening system that I use to hone the blade giving it a smooth razor edge that peels gaskets, dried on glue, paint blobs, and sometimes skin with ease. There are very few things in life that are as perfect as this short gasket scraper, once honed that is. True it’s not the wonder that is my diy palm-rest scraper but it comes very close my friend.

Scraping made easy

Terrible material leaves deep scrape marks no matter what angle you hold it at. Not very sturdy. One rolled off and fell to the floor and broke. Would not recommend for gasket scrapping or anything for that matter.

They work good at least the 2 i have tried
