It's hard to take a photo that does them justice... they are an attractive, warm white light, but still very bright. The USB recharging is worth the extra money - no fiddling around with batteries in little packs, no additional expense after the original purchase. The on-off is also very easy - just a quick twist. The corks are proper cork (not plastic) so the whole thing looks really nice. The choice of bottle is important (we discovered that screw-top bottles don't look so good) and we heartily recommend The Fleurs de Prairie Brut Sparkling wine from Morrisons - really pretty bottle and a delicious wine. Although the wires are very thin (obviously), it is so much easier to plug these in to charge rather than replace fiddly batteries. Quick charging time, too. Used these in beautiful wine bottles and they look amazing. Lights are bright enough and don't flicker, good value for money and quality is good.

Complained via Amazon chat and they effected a partial refund and I retained the 2 received items. Robustly packaged by Amazon and delivered quickly. - Product is, 2m in length of thin metal wires. There are actually 2 wires close together just less than 0.5mm each. Along the length of the wires, every 10cm there is a tiny (4x4mm) led light. Power comes from USB rechargeable batteries housed in the white plastic stopper. A cork covered plastic top covers the USB connection. - At first glance, look nice and quite bright. I bought the Cold white ones. They look great in 75cl or 1 litre Gin Bottles. Any clear bottle will do but the Gin ones tend to come in different shapes and have nice designs on them etched into glass. You could also experiment putting them in Jars, around plants, small mirrors etc. - Batteries Last about 8 to 10 hours, and they recharge in 20 to 25 mins. A red light comes on whilst recharging and will go out when ready. HOWEVER some concerns warrant a less then glowing review: 1. Poor design. As it stands, you have to take the whole bottle (or extract all the wiring from the bottle) to your USB charging point. (I guess if you have one, you could take a power bank to it). Surely better to have the battery element in the top part of the cork, this little part on its own, could then be plugged into a USB charger. Also, if cork becomes a loose fitting (as is on one of my units) the cork could detach whilst in situ, and the lower part of the unit will fall into some wider neck bottles, making it difficult to retrieve. 2. Its early days, but the wiring is very thin and the overall construction flimsy. I can not envisage it standing up to too much abuse. This may be a concern as you will need to handle the item frequently to USB recharge the battery; and also the on/off turn switch is near the cabling. 3. Wire length and LED number seem sufficient and are probably adequate for most, but personally I'd prefer a 30 instead of 20 light cable over 2m. - Overall Look pretty and quite effective BUT possibly fragile, a tad expensive, poor design and maybe concerns with build quality and durability. Having a USB instead of throwaway batteries is a plus point Will report back here in 3/4 months time regarding longevity. In the meantime 4 stars

First impressions are the lights are good for purpose. Bought to use to highlight a vase and glass flowers and the lights reflect perfectly. Haven't tested them for how long they will last before needing recharging but I prefer the idea of rechargeable batteries. Great value at the price point and they are very easy to fit into the vase. Happy to recommend based on initial use.

Really pleased with these and how they look. Read lots of other reviews and was unsure what they would be like but so far these seem really good. They arrived quickly and seemed fully charged. Lovely and bright and easy to use. Have put one in a bottle, wrapped one around a driftwood tea light holder and the other is a present to go with a bottle of wine. The only reason I gave a slightly lower score on the battery life is I haven’t had them on very much yet or had to recharge so not sure what the prolonged life and use will be like but hopefully this will be good as well.

Ok, I wasn’t expecting much from these. At full charge, they last 3-4 hours before you notice the yellow, blue and red lights die. What you are left with is bright green lights. Fine to be honest in the garden but don’t look great indoors. Charging via usb is quick and they are nice and bright. Easy to use. Basically twist the base before inserting into the bottle. Are they value for money ? Barely. Would I buy more, nope

Love these lights. I have used them in empty bottles (Bombay Saphire Gin ones look great). You charge them through a USB port which I have found so much easier and cheaper, and the light lasts for around 7 or 8 hours. It takes about 15 mins on a fast charger to fully charge. The top looks like a cork and fits into the glass bottle so you dont have a big battery pack hanging out the back - very neat! The only possible downside is that they are very delicate looking, I will not be swopping them in and out of different bottles but no problems so far, they may be more robust than I think

Die Lieferung kam pünktlich an. Ich habe die Lichterkette in eine leere Ouzo Flasche gesteckt. Der Draht ist zwar etwas dünn, aber ließ sich trotzdem mit Hilfe eines dünnen Stäbchens problemlos in die Flasche stecken und dort schön positionieren. :-) Die Flaschenlampe sieht richtig toll aus und die Anzahl an Lichter reichen für die Flaschengröße vollkommen aus. Es ist auch echt super, dass man die Lichterkette über USB aufladen kann. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde sie auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen und kann sie definitiv weiterempfehlen. ;-)
