Top quality
This foam is as good as you can get for storing items. I use it for storing astronomical lenses in a flat case and it is easy to trim to size. It holds its shape well.

Not pre-cut, just a piece of foam

Need scissors to cut all the way
Great for making a custom insert for my loupes case. The only downside is that I had to use scissors to cut along the perforated cuts because it was not pulling apart easily on the lines I needed to separate. Very good quality foam that protects my loupes.

Thin pillow consistency
It depends on what you are needing it for. It is not hard foam suitable for camera and gun cases. It’s soft memory foam. Great for some uses I’m sure, near worthless for what I got it for. It’s not durable, it’s a thin pillow.
