Don't count on the ratchet strap.
The unit that fits on top of the washer is solid although unlike other units there is no way to bolt it to the washing machine. There are skid pads that I guess are supposed to stop the dryer from sliding off the washer (I'll see after then first earthquake). My complaint is with the ratchet strap. It is junk, flimsy and won't ratchet tightly. I got this unit at a discount price so I won't send it back. I will order a stronger ratchet tie down.

Plastic clamps do not hold iron pipe! Waste of money.
If you love DIY and are willing to put up with ugliness in your home, this device is made for you. The iron bars are made of such thin metal that they bend under the clamps. The plastic clamps do not hold the bars in place. You have to come up with some ugly engineering and screw in screws. Otherwise, the whole thing just falls apart during the washing process.

Middle didn’t fit
How you are supposed to put a dryer on top of this platform as it moves is beyond me. Strap is cheap
