The actual rover is excellent and made from good quality materials. Instructions are clear and I got it up and running in a few hours. The camera feed was too choppy to rely on for navigation so, based on recommendations from Sunfounder’s website, I updated the esp32 cam firmware to the latest version so that I’d be able to switch WiFi channels. However, the WiFi will now no longer connect and the controller app won’t work. I can’t revert the firmware as that has to be done with a WiFi connection so the rover is now useless. UPDATE: Sunfounder kindly offered me a full refund but I declined because I’d already bought a replacement part and installed the right firmware myself. The rover is even better now and I would definitely recommend it but just be careful that you don’t make the same mistake that I did - just install 1.4.2 because it works 😀

Interesting kit, very good value. It went together well but I had a problem with the camera. Sun founder were very helpful and quickly supplied a replacement.

We thought this would be a really great gift, my son enjoyed building it however the device doesn't connect to his Bluetooth. For the past 4 weeks we've been back and forth with their technical department, but trued numerous suggestions on fixes with no luck. It's disappointing they won't just send a new circuit board.

構成とパーツの両方とも良く出来ているキットです。 arduinoを触ったことがあると、組み立て後が楽かもしれません。 とても分かりやすい説明書が付いていて、あまり組み立てに困ることは無いのですが、他にもオンライン上に動画でのチュートリアルや詳しい解説が有って、組み立てや動かすまでを判りやすくサポートしてくれています。 CPUにはarduino互換のボードが使用されていて、敷居があまり高くない標準のIDEが使えるのも馴染みやすいと思います。 細かいパーツは袋で小分けにされていて、M3×6以外は2個余る数が用意されていました。 組立は説明書だけで判ると思いますが、判らなければWeb上の動画を見ると良いと思います。 組立が終わると動かす準備となりますが、ボードへ書き込むまでに私が引っかかった点は次の3点です。 1．付属のUSBケーブルでは私のPCからボードを認識できませんでした。 2．arduino IDEへSoftPWM.hを追加する必要が有りました。 3．同じくarduino IDEへSunFounder_AI_Camera.hを追加する必要が有りました。 タブレットへアプリをインストールし、動かしてみるとこのキットかなり楽しいです。 カメラを見ながら動かすことが出来、ウルトラマンなどの特撮物を見ている気持ちになれます。 初期状態ではこのキットがWi-FiのAPとなって、そのネットワークへ接続して操作を行う形で操作を行います。 プログラムの一部を書き換えてボードへ書き込むと、既存のWi-Fiへ接続してそのネットワークで動作させることも可能です。 試してみましたが、少し反応が遅かったので標準のAPモードで遊ぶのが反応が良く楽しいと思います。 また、このキットはただ動かすだけで無く、使われているパーツの理解を深めることが出来るよう学習コースが設けられているのも良かったです。 とにかくよく考えて作られているキットで、しばらくはこれで学びながら遊べそうです。 こういった物がお好きな方にも、これからロボティックスを学ぼうとしている学生さんにもお勧めなキットでとても気に入りました。 これは本当にお勧めです！ \18,880-（\1,200- OFFクーポン有り）

C'était un cadeau de Noël pour mon fils de neuf ans. Une bonne après midi de montage à deux (impossible pour un jeune enfant seul), et même à deux, nous avons fait une erreur de branchement sur les capteurs à ultrason. Deux jours pour trouver l'origine du problème alors que je fais de la robotique depuis plus de 20 ans. Un super petit robot qui fait rêver à l'ingénierie spatiale. Mon fils est trop heureux !
