One of the greatest inventions ever!
This is an amazing space saving rack. I am able to do just about every workout I would do at a traditional gym. It’s sturdy, and Installation was fairly easy. When it is folded, I can still fit my truck in the garage with room to spare.

100% WORTH IT!
Had this over a year now and still looks great. 10/10 would highly recommend. Seller is also very responsive and helpful. Great quality! Very dynamic and easy to use. Also, we can get our cars in the garage with the folding function!

Great for tight spaces, perfectly priced. Assembly requires patience & basic handiwork know-how.
After reading reviews and researching most folding racks with pulley systems, I decided to pull the trigger on this product. By far the most competitively priced, the Mikolo Folding Squat Rack arrived timely and well packaged. Instructions were clear for assembly- although as another review stated, the included mounting hardware is ONLY meant for concrete/brick installations. There was no mention of this in the instructions, just be aware of the anchors you choose. Overall quality was nice, there was one bent piece that required a little elbow grease to allow the silver guide bar to fit properly, but once bent back into place things were secure. I'm by no means a handyman or carpenter, but handy enough to install the stringer bars and get a secure mount (this process with full rack assembly probably took me 2.5 hours. Would have been quicker with an extra set of hands). Here's what I used to mount the stringer bars and ultimately rack if you'd like to do something similar. Probably a better way, but I feel comfortable throwing weight on it with my solution: - 2 5'x6" wooden stringer bars, mounted to four separate studs in my basement. - 16 5"x1/2" lag bolts (and washers) for attaching stringer bars to studs - 12 2 1/2" x 3/8" lag bolts (and washers) for attaching rack to stringer bars Also ended up picking up some heavy-duty magnetic hooks to hold all cable accessories off the ground for additional space saving. Have not tried collapsing the rack with these hooks on the top "Mikolo" metal stringer bar however. Overall would absolutely recommend this product to friends, rating 4/5 due to bent piece and additional hardware required for non-masonry mounting.

Loving it so far
Seems to be of very good quality. Went together easily following the directions. I did use some of my tools instead of what comes with it. Slight annoyances: is a little "sticky" when the carriages are going up and down. Better when weights are evenly distributed. Will try some lube mentioned in another review. The other thing is these little rubber washers, near the stop ball at the end of the cable. I don't know what they are for and they will move in the middle of a set and get stuck in the rollers. I finally just slid them up the cable to a location that would not interfere with my workout. It is a bit pricey, but was the best price I found for two independent pulley systems. The ability to adjust the arms is a great feature. Not only can you fold them in to reduce the footprint, but with 2 positions to adjust them outward, you probably get the widest cable crossover in the size of a squat rack.

Perfect at home gym
I had my doubts about this rack because of the price. But I will say it has surprised me. I go to commercial gyms and got this for my wife and days I’m running slim on time. The instructions aren’t the best but I found a video on YouTube that makes it easy. Everything is high quality, and I get great workouts with it! I love being able to fold it up in under a minute to clear room in my garage. Some people say to replace the pulleys with aluminum ones, but after oiling the bar the weight slides on, I don’t notice too much of a difference from the cables at a commercial gym. I’d recommend this rack with cables to anyone! Well worth the money compared to a standard Rogue squat rack only.

Great bang for the buck
Great rack for what I needed. The overall rack is well constructed and easy to fold away against the wall. Assembly and mounting takes a significant amount of time but is not difficult. I managed to build and mount by myself, but it would have been much easier if I had an extra set of hands. The pullys are tough plastic but would be easy to replace if I need to down the road. The slides for the pullys drag quite a bit if you do not have the weight balanced, but work well if you have the same weight on both sides of the slides. It sits about a food away from the wall, this allows you to not have to unload the weights on the pullys. I love that i can still use my garage and can pull the golf cart out and have it set up for a workout in less than 2 minutes. I would highly recommend for a casual lifter.

Perfect for my needs
It was packaged very well. Everything arrived and was in great shape. Probably took me about 4 1/2 hours to assemble using my own tools instead of what came with it. This included my time to attach some stringers to the wall to attach the rack to. I'm older and sold my full-sized Smith cage 2 1/2 years ago when moving 800 miles away. I wanted something with a smaller footprint that had some cable options to maximize my efforts and to keep me interested. This checks all of the boxes for me. One bit of advice for the cable weights - spray the corners of the vertical tubes with some silicone spray and they will glide like butter and remove all resistance when doing the cable exercises. Another tip is to load each weight tree with an equal amount of weight on each side. There is noticeable drag if you only place weight on one side like they show in their videos. To truly get that smooth 1:1 effect, use both sides of the weight tree when loading up. After using this for a little over a week, the quality is very good and the finish is excellent. Assembly was pretty straight forward, just study the hardware sizes so you're grabbing the correct length bolts for each step.

I would save up for a slightly nicer rack instead
Overall it’s okay. I’m a wood worker and have a bunch of tools that made this easier to install. Might not be so easy for someone with minimal tools. PROS: • inexpensive • foldable • load bearing • easy assembly (with 2x6 stringer) CONS: • pulleys jam up really bad. Aluminum pulley wheels won’t necessarily fix this issue either. Should be made with linear bearings for better weight distribution since the issue lies with the trolley. It’s plastic sliding against metal. • you have to meticulously remove the pull up bar any time you wanna fold in the rack. It’s so annoying trying to get it lined up when you want to re-install it. Should be spring loaded. • re-adjusting the feet every time you fold it in and out. Also should be spring loaded. Silver lining: Even though I don’t like how poor quality the cable system is, I guess resistance is the name of the game in building muscle, so I’m also trying to see it as a feature, not a bug. It’s also super cheap so you get what you pay for. I wish I would have saved up for a nicer rack and gotten that instead.
