Julius K9 is like Stella's advertising - reassuringly expensive. A dog collar is one of those things you don't want to have fail because when you need it to work, you really need it.Following a 'normal' collar snapping at the plastic buckle when my dog bolted after being frightened on a walk, and the ensuing 45 minute terror of her being lost as she roamed the streets of the town, I vowed to replace her collar with something much better. I've trusted Julius-K9 products for years in other areas (tracking harnesses etc) and it was only laziness that meant I had her previously in the existing collar given to us.The Julius-K9 is extremely high quality as you'd expect. The buckle is very robust and has a real feel of strength to it. The rest of the collar is very well made - strong stitching, and made of very tough material.In short, I'm confident this collar will last her a lifetime. I'm very satisfied with it.

Good looking collar and seems fairly sturdy my only gripe would be the clip looks a bit cheap and flimsy, fingers crossed it lasts and I'm wrong.

My dog has had this collar for two years. He runs through mud, swims in the river and gives the collar a hard time. It has never come loose or fell off. Just remember to put the buckle through the lead ring. The adjustment is easy a standard buckle arrangementThe collar is not the cheapest on the internet but you will only ever have to buy it once.After a year of Chester trailing the caller I bought another cooler for my other dog. Matches our wee boys harness same brand and colour, easy to adjust and put on and take off. He seems to find it comfy.

A superb 20mm collar for £5.30. Sometimes the less popular colours are cheaper on Amazon, so change the colour option if you want to pay less. This is possibly the best collar available in the £5-£10 price range. The last collar i bought was a £7 Yudote collar & nowhere near as good.As the dog grows, we'll buy a bigger 25mm or 40mm Julius K9 collar from Amazon because this smaller collar has proven the brand to be robust. I have way more faith in the K9 collar than our cheap pound shop dog lead.

Looks great but hard to undo. I've had to abandon it (tried to return it, but just out of return window for Amazon).I've got quite strong fingers, but not strong enough to undo the clip once it's clipped in.Shame - I ike this and the lead that goes with it, which has a very good grip.
