Great toy for the young ones
Such a fun toy, our little one has found a new hobby in 'catching fairies' and is always so excited to see what she has captured and interact with them.

Good gift, but so functional
Bought it as a gift to myself. Well assembled, big buttons, nice animations. I like that you get different fairies each time โ and never know which one will be next. Also, you don't lose your progress when turn the toy off (which is good in comparison to classic tamagotchi). However, there are only two mini-games and a feeding function. Nevertheless, it's a cute toy that kids (and kidults like me) would enjoy!

This toy is so cute and makes a great gift! The interactive fairy pets are fun to find and care for, and the design is really charming. It keeps kids entertained while encouraging creativity. Definitely a magical and fun toy for any fairy lover!

This is not a true V-Pet (lengthy review)
This is not a proper v pet Let me explain: This released along with their other fairy catchible toys. This was marketed to be more like a virtual pet similar to tamagotchis or punirunes. As a V-pet collector I was very intrigued as it has very cute pet designs and the model of the toy is also very well done. After receiving the toy I can say the toy is well made model wise and the animations for the pets are very good, it has light up wing attatchments that correspond well with the pets movements and your interactions. I also appreciate the lid mechanic as this is something unique no other v pets are doing. This is kinda where the pros end though and the cons start... For starters this isnt a true v-pet, sure you can feed and play games while watching your pet grow. However the pets entire life cycle completes in the span of 5 minutes(no joke). There's no raising or watching your pet grow over a couple days which defeats the purpose of it being a pet, it's more like a fairy collector with extra steps. Watching the pet grow over a few days develops a bond and appreciation for the pet as well as the animations they clearly put work into. The status bars for the pet are a joke, you have two games to play to replenish its status otherwise it dies, the status bars deplete by the literal second (also no joke) meaning if you don't interact with the pet for more than 10 minutes it just up and dies...... the only way to keep the pet alive if you cannot constantly interact with it is to either curb the pet in the fairy house when it's adult or turn the device off. This is a horrible design choice. I suppose they want you to try and collect all of the pets but why remove the option to enjoy the beautiful animations for the pet I like or currently have? If I have the pet I want why would I play it anymore for fear of losing my pet? It makes no sense, I feel like they could strike gold if they would fix the status bars and increase the grow cycle of the pet. Hope this helps~

Meh. Not as good as I thought it would be.
It's a cute idea and I like the idea of raising a fairy pet from an egg, caring for it, etc. But this toy misses the mark in several ways: 1) Display issues. The blacklighting is really weak and difficult to see I'm low lighting. Also, the icons for menu selection are SO TINY they are all but impossible to read. 2) Feeding your pet, you never see it eat. Bummer. That was a cute part of old school Tamagochis. Thr options are also limited to just 2 foods. 3) There is no bathing/brushing feature. 4) Playing with your pet..... isn't playing with your pet. You just play an isolated and boring game that has nothing to do with your pet. It doesn't fetch, learn tricks, find anything.... you play a boring game repeatedly. That's it. The one thing I do like about this toy is that thr pet never dies. It just flies away if you don't care for it enough. But that's about it.
