Great Outdoor CAT6 Cable!
The cable pulls super smoothly from the reel box, making installation a breeze. Terminating the cable was straightforward, and the jacket feels durable and well-made. It also has excellent waterproofing, which gives me peace of mind for outdoor use.

Quality cable in good hassle-free packaging.
Quality cable. Over the last 30 years or so in my IT career , I've seen the spectrum of ethernet cable. Some were good quality but otherwise marred by horrible handling characteristics, i.e., difficult to strip and reliably terminate, too stiff and thus difficult to run, etc. Experienced IT hands also know that solid copper core (SCC) cable yields better results for PoE applications than copper clad aluminum (CCA) and will generally perform better at gigabit or gigabit+ data rates. The Dripstone SCC cable met my expectations. Sturdy jacket, stiff enough to manage well, but not too stiff to handle. The outer jacket strips well - a single spin of my Paladin stripping tool is enough to ensure a crisp break of the jacket without damaging the copper pairs inside. I get reliable PoE at just over 150 feet. The packaging is a bonus. The cable feeds well without kinking or hanging up. Some ethernet cable manufacturers do an apallingly bad job of product packaging. Not Dripstone. Makes pulling cable much easier.10/10 - would buy again.

Good cable but it’s defective in places
The end was cut poorly (with a pair of kid’s scissors…maybe someone at Amazon just gnawed it off?) so I immediately lost a few inches which is minor but annoying. The exterior coating is thick and it has an additional plastic layer + a plastic separator. It’s “exterior” for about 3” of wire on this run but I’m also going to run it direct-burial to my generator and I have confidence it will hold up.It fit standard Cat6 ends (barely). Standard tension guards also fit on the wire but once again, barely. My gripe is that there are defects on the individual wire sheathing (mostly green stripe). It’s bubbled and extra thick in places so if you accidentally find a piece like that, you lose 1 inch to 1 foot recutting the wire until you find an inch or two that will push into the connector.I can’t find this wire in black locally so I’m not complaining too much but be aware it’s frustrating and probably not what you want for your 10Gbps network. I’m using it to power/connect an exterior POE Wi-Fi AP and connect a generac generator and I’m confident that it will provide solid stable low-bandwidth connections.

great price on db cat 6
great price, purchased for in ground in conduit pull of 200 feet no amp needed and per electrical code in conduit must be direct burial. Better to be safe than sorry

Great, heavy duty cable.
I am not an IT professional. I am comparing these cable to my experience with a few other cat 6 and cat5e cables.Overall, I am very happy with this cable. It’s heavy duty and easy to work with. You can tell that the pairs are soft (aluminum clad) versus the solid cable cable, but I have not ran into issues. It actually makes straightening the cables easy.I did not find the cable to be brittle as some reviews complained.I used the cable directly buried around my 6 acres for IP cameras. The cable is very light. And....floats. Which, really shouldn’t matter but it was an observation I made. This will probably be my go-to heavy duty Cat6 cable.

Works for what I needed. I have it buried, run along walls and under our deck.
I recently finished up installing a bunch of security cameras around the house, most being POE. I used this cable to run wire to our shed (90 feet under a deck, 18 feet underground), a small storage building (75 feet under the deck), and to our office from the garage - that one was through a wall in the garage where the cable company installed the modem, along 80 feet of outside wall, through another wall and into the office. No complaints. Worked with the CAT-5 and CAT-6 pass-through connectors I use.
