It works but because the underlayer id soft its very slippery on our wooden floor and plastic side up it really looks a bit.. cheapish. Still getting 4 stars as it does the job and its not expensive

Not really a hearth mat.....
I'm sure this will be fireproof but it's not really a mat more of a pad. In fact the label on the back says 'welding pad'. My wife hates it even though in might well save our carpet.However despite this I could live with it if it wasn't sticky! It has a sort of tackiness that mean any hairs or bits of dust and grass stick to it and prove a real pain to remove. Can't say I'd recommend this as a household item.

La verdad que muy bien. Aunque mi chimenea es cerrada y el suelo es de parquet, así que cuando cae algo encendido he de ir con mucho cuidado. La alfombra me a rasurado muy útil y la recomiendo. Me está dando buen resultado cuando caen encendidas algunas ascuas.

Schöne Matte aber man sieht Fussabdrücke
eine tollen Erfindung und eine schöne Matte. ein Punkt Abzug dafür, dass man auch den kleinsten Fussabdruck drauf sieht. Lässt sich aber ganz leicht abwischen und dann sieht es wieder aus wie neu. Jedoch ein ganz klein weniger empfindlich wäre klasse.
