ESV Student Study Bible (TruTone, Nubuck Caramel, Wildflower Design): Holy Bible, English Standard Version Review: The only BOOK!!!!! - I can’t say enough good things about the ESV Student Bible. It strikes the perfect balance between readability, theological depth, and helpful guidance for students who want to grow in their faith and understanding of Scripture. First, the translation itself—the English Standard Version (ESV)—is one of the most trusted modern translations available. It maintains a high level of accuracy to the original texts while still being very readable, which makes it ideal for both serious study and daily devotionals. It's a translation that respects the integrity of the text but is accessible enough for younger readers or those newer to the Bible. What sets this Student Bible apart are the features tailored specifically for young readers, teens, and college students. Each book begins with an introduction that gives helpful context—who wrote it, when, why, and what themes to look for. These are written clearly without being overly academic, and they really help you understand the big picture. Throughout the Bible, there are insightful notes and explanations that clarify difficult passages, offer historical background, and connect themes across Scripture. These are incredibly helpful for anyone trying to understand the Bible more deeply but aren’t quite ready for a full study Bible. The notes don’t overwhelm the text but complement it in a meaningful way. The reading plans and devotionals included are a great bonus. Whether you’re trying to read through the whole Bible in a year or just looking for guidance on where to start, the plans help create a structured path that makes reading Scripture less intimidating. Design-wise, the pages are well laid out, with a clean font that’s easy to read. The paper is thin like most Bibles, but still good quality. I also appreciate the helpful cross-references and footnotes that make it easy to dig deeper when something piques your interest. It's available in hardcover, paperback, and imitation leather options, depending on your preference. Whether you're a middle schooler, high schooler, college student, or even an adult looking for a Bible with student-friendly guidance, this Bible is an incredible resource. It encourages both understanding and application, and it's clear that the team behind it truly cares about helping young people engage with God’s Word in a meaningful way. Highly recommended for students, youth groups, new believers, or even parents and mentors looking for a solid gift for a young person. This Bible will equip you not just to read the Word, but to live it out with confidence. Let me know if you'd like a shorter version or one that focuses on a specific age group (teens, college students, etc.)! I can’t say enough good things about the ESV Student Bible. Great, see for yourself!
Soft leather with engraved floral print on front. I love the timelines, summaries, and book outlines. I also appreciate the “Did you know” facts sprinkled in throughout the Bible letting you know more about the history of a people or place, traditions, definitions and application, and more. It also gives Character profiles about the people you read about, super interesting. I can’t wait to start studying with this Bible. So far I have nothing to complain about. The pages feel nice and it makes a nice sound when you flip through the pages 😄 perhaps I should make an asmr video with this Bible too. I would recommend for personal use or as a gift.

Love it!
Beautiful cover material and color and embossed flower, I can't help to touch it and want to read it. I got it for my teen daughter and she loves it! She loves the 8x5 size, not heavy just the right size for her. I personally love it for the study notes and want one too, however, I prefer a larger print. I believe this is about a 7 pt, but my daughter is fine with it. Note: this is not a note taking bible so there is no room on the margins for notes. Great buy! I would recommend

For the curious and the searching
This ESV study Bible is a phenomenal, practical, life-changing resource for students of all ages. It's filled with maps, study guides, commentary, and most importantly: the inspired Word of God. There's a bit of margin for personal note-taking (important for me), primarily around other illustrations, charts, or graphs. Paper is thin, as you would expect, which allows for a portable size of this complete study Bible. The binding is well done and could be treasured and read for years to come, great for giftable or personal use.

Very good.
Bible comes in a case - not sure how long it'll last. Maybe 100-120lb paper. Thin cardboard. Regardless, the Bible cover and binding is tight. Good construction. Bible weighs a fraction of an ounce less than two pounds. The cover measures 8-5/8" x 6". The pages rest 1/4" inside on three sides. What makes it a "Student Bible"? I randomly pulled a verse - John 11:11. Lazarus is dead - Jesus hung out for two days where He was, then told His disciples, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I will go awaken him." Let's compare some footnotes: My wife's NIV: "fallen asleep." A euphemism for death, used by the unbelieving world as well as by Christians. My ESV (MacArthur): "fallen asleep." A euphemistic term used in the NT to refer to death, particularly with reference to believers who will be physically raised to eternal life (cf. 1 Cor. 11:30; 15:15; 1 Thess 4:13). This Student Study Bible: "Fallen asleep" means "died" (see vv. 12-14). The OT equivalent is "slept with his fathers" (e.g., 1 Kings 2:10). Occasionally, death is compared to a deep sleep from which people will one day be awakened (e.g., Dan 12:2). The Student Bible is certainly more both direct and expansive, puts the phrase in context with similar phrases, and gives three references to further understand. Nice job. Every two-page section also has a "Did you know?" There are dozens of personal profiles, maps, and charts. Overall, very well-done. Pleased and recommend.
