these are awesome. i couldnt find any good youtube videos so i just kinda winged it using them and got a close to salon quality cut. before id just been using house scissors. all the tools are very sharp, cut through my thick hair super easily, though the thinning shears got stuck a few times but i think that's an operator error iykwim. worked really well on my beard too. the cape was thinner than i expected, it's a sheer fabric instead of the heavy thing, but that was actually much better since i was needing to move my arms. the brush works really good too at getting the small hairs off. there's only one wire.. hairtie.. thing in my picture, but it comes with 3. i just gave the others to my cat. really easy to use, comfortable to hold, probably the easiest haircut ive ever done. only complaint is the bladed comb is hard to clean the hairs out of, but i dont think that's an issue specific to this product. overall way better than i expected given the price

This is perfect for cutting hubby's hair. The scissors are sharp and the drape fits nicely. It comes with some clips to hold the hair back when layering. The brush to clean off the hair leaves a little to be desired, but all in all, I would buy it again.

I really like this hair cutting set. I am an ex hairdresser and I really needed a new pair of scissors. They are very sharp and cut really well. The thinning shears also work good. I'm very happy with this set. They have a comfortable feel. I wish the cape was a little bit thicker but it's the cutting tools that are more important. The finger guards come in handy. When I cut my own hair I do tend to sometimes nip my knuckle. Definitely worth buying.

This is a complete barbering kit. I use it to cut the men's hair at home; the quality is excellent—I absolutely love it. It makes the job easier and saves me time.

These scissors impressed me right away. I used them to cut both my husband's and toddler's hair, which was a real test since they have completely different hair types. One has thick, curly hair while the other has smooth, straight hair. The scissors handled both textures effortlessly. The included combs are a nice bonus, offering versatility for different styles. I was also pleased with the quality of the scrunchies. The only drawbacks worth mentioning are the cape, which doesn't fasten securely and slips open during use, and the cleaning brush, which doesn't do the most thorough job. Overall a solid kit for home haircuts.

Excellent kit excellent value works really well as a retired hairdresser. I don’t use it as much as somebody that was still doing it full-time, however for friends, family, and longtime regulars it has been excellent. The scissors have stage sharp the little brush the brush off the hair is a nice touch. The cape works wonderful for men’s haircuts. I like to go over the regular cut with the texturizing shears the short fade that guys like nowadays just makes it blend more seamlessly.
