Great little adapter!
Needed this adapter to connect a new external DVD drive to my laptop. The DVD drive came with a male USB C connection, which my older laptop didn't support. They fulfill my major requirement: they work.
I have an increasing need for adapters like this as Type C devices proliferate. So far, these seem like they work. Connectors fit snugly and stay put in the sockets. I'm going to try attaching them to the cables most often used with them with bits of Velcro to make use more convenient. We'll see how that works out. Initial impression: these adapters work so far and I'd purchase them again. Jerry

Did not Support Data Transfer
I ordered these for use with a VAVA 8-in-1 USB C adapter ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N68KCSD/ ). Both adapters provided power to the hub but would not allow any data transfer. The hub provided data transfer when plugged in to a USB C port.

works for what I need
I was concerned that the male USB-C didn't insert completely into the USB, but it did seem very e, hasn't fallen out, and works to charge my device just fine. Great value!

Beware, may not allow charging on certain devices.
Will charge my iPhone but not my 12.9” iPad Pro 3rd Gen (2018 model).

I bought the wrong cable from Apple on line. Was getting ready to go through the hassle of returning it when one of my daughters suggested just getting an adapter. Genius. High quality, low price, and fast delivery. Can’t ask for more than that.

Handy
Works as described. I got these to go with my new Google pixel phone, as this particular phone requires a USB C connection, and a lot of things I already had on hand use a regular USB connection, such as the port for my car charger, wall plugs, etc. So these just make it so I can still use those things without having to replace them all. You plug your USB C connection cable into the adapter and the adapter will then plug into any standard USB power source, laptop, computer, etc. A handy little tool to have!
