I have tried several smart switch brands, and these have been the most responsive and reliable by far. Commands register quickly, and I have not had the random disconnects I experienced with others. Installation was straightforward, even though I am not an electrician. The instructions were clear, and everything fit cleanly in a standard box. The switches look good once installed and have a solid, quality feel. You can use either the KASA app or the TAPO app with these. I prefer the TAPO app. It is easy to set up schedules and timers, and I also use their smart plugs, which integrate seamlessly. I also like that the switches light up when powered off. It makes it easy to tell their state at a glance and easy to find in the dark. These have become my go to smart switches.

You know that point in your life when you fully understand you are "grown up"? Getting mad that lights are always on because the kids won't shut them off will do that to you. The installation of the lights is a little tricky if you are not used to working with basic light switches and sockets. The app and instructions do a good job of safely guiding you through the process. I was a little hesitant but got it to work after using ChatGPT for some quick questions about grounding wires and how to connect each wire to the new switches. It's a good quality switch with no issues connecting to the app. I now have an automation to auto-shut off the lights if left on. Yes, it's a small thing, and I'm probably not going to break even on the purchase versus energy saved, but the grown-up dad side of me is happy.

One of the two Belkin WeMo smart dimmer switches I was using for years decided to go crazy and quit (flashing red and turning the lights on and off in rapid succession) so I decided to replace them both with this. It wasn't fun working in the tight space with rigid wiring but I got it done and I think the end result looks pretty good. I did have some setup issues trying to set it up on my Android phone. First, the setup asked me a weird questions about Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and to choose the setup method that was on the package but there wasn't any setup method specifically mentioned on the package so I figured it's probably Wi-Fi but it didn't work at first so then I tried Bluetooth which didn't work either. I think the Wi-Fi method failed because my phone doesn't like to connect to any Wi-Fi network that doesn't have Internet so I had to manually connect to the temporary Wi-Fi network and tell Android I still wanted to be connected to that network even though it didn't have Internet access. Anyway, after that mess was sorted out the app went into some strange firmware update loop and dimmer setting loop. I had to dump out of the app to get out of the loop. So minus 1 star because the setup and app need some debugging and fine tuning because software setup was harder and more time consuming than it should have been... such is life with all the tech bugs these days. It's great when it works right, but it's rare when everything works the way it's suppose to the first time.

Great product! This allows you to make any light switch into a smart switch. I was trying to find dusk to dawn light bulbs for my porch lights, but they have multiple bulbs, so if one lit up, the others would not because of the light sensor. This was my particular reason for trying this, but not only can I set a schedule for my porch lights, I can turn them on/off via the app from anywhere. Bonus 2-gang allows the other interior light that is on that switch to be accessed as well. Easy to install, no need for an electrician. Follow the directions to shut off the breaker and connect 3 wires... that's it. Wall plate looks sleek and awesome!

My first smart switch and I love it. No hub needed so that fit my needs. Install was same as a regular switch and quality is solid. Connected to my wifi no problem. The app is also easy to use and control the switch. I also like it has a smart feature where you can turn on/off at sunrise/sunset or a specified time. 100% would recommend.

Easy to download app, easy to use . Now I can turn lights on and off even away from home . Great price , great smart switch.

Excelente producto. El único inconveniente es el tamaño. Ya q es como si pusieras dos interruptores juntos. Entonces si tendrías q hacer el lugar donde se va a instalar al doble de lo normal

Se ve de buena calidad sin embargo en México no queda en una caja estándar es muy grande

Un buen producto y demas, el unico problema es que en la caja dice que el tamaño de la caja es standar, el problema es que nunca mencionan que se necesitan dos cajas contiguas para poderlo instalar, si esperas poder usarlo.
