Best Bang for Your Buck โ Fantastic Laptop Snagged for $399!
This laptop is an absolute steal. At the time of purchase it was priced at $399! (I see it has gone up in price since buying) Itโs perfect for students or business professionals, offering great performance, a sleek design, and solid battery life without breaking the bank. The 16โ display provides an immersive viewing experience, and the full-sized keyboard with NumPad makes working with numbers a breeze. The Intel Core i5-1235U processor with Iris Xe graphics ensures smooth performance for productivity, editing, and entertainment. With 16GB of RAM, multitasking is seamless, and the 512GB SSD offers plenty of storage for large files and applications. Battery life is solid, lasting up to 10 hours, so you wonโt be constantly searching for an outlet. A huge plus is that it comes with the full version of Windows 11 Homeโnot the restrictive S mode! That means no limitations on app installations, giving you the freedom to use it just like a desktop. For the price, this laptop delivers outstanding value. If you need a fast, reliable, and budget-friendly machine, this is a fantastic choice!

solid laptop
Good solid laptop overall. Good value for the price. CPU and GPU performance is very good. Screen is good; keyboard and touchpad are nice, but the keyboard is not backlit. The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop, so sound quality is not so good. The laptop has a lightweight but durable feel to it. Windows 11 feels big and a bit sluggish at times, but the good thing is Asus didn't bloat it up, they just added one support app as far as I can tell. This review is for model X1605ZA.

Quirky Touch pad
I like this laptop nice price and performance it would get 5 stars if not for the funky touch pad which at time seems to have a mind of it's own. I use it with a mouse since the touch pad became so frustrating to use. I set the touch pad to disable when mouse is connected. I did re-image the OS to Windows 11 Professional rather than Home and to remove all the ASUS bloatware. I would recommend it as maybe you can find the quirky touch pad better to use than I. But very happy with the laptop 16GB Ram, 12 gen i5, Intel IRIS display and 500gb SD very good for the price. Perfect for me - streaming, browsing and MS Office.

Very good laptop!
I bought this laptop for my 10 year old daughter. She seems to love it, and she is getting used to typing and doing everything on the computer, which is essential knowledge these days. I got it on sale for $399+tax during the Prime Big Deal Days Event. Very good processor, and it's a better laptop than the one I use for myself! I've never purchased Asus before, and am happy with the purchase and would recommend this brand. Solid deal! This can do everything you need it to do, assuming you aren't using it as a hardcore gaming computer. The screen is also very nice. I don't often write Amazon reviews, but felt compelled to write this review. Have a good one!

Excellent laptop!
ANYTIME you buy an Asus laptop on amazon it shows it with model number that is difficult to track. There is a program called HWInfo that will give you the REAL model number as X1605ZA. You can find more information on the Internet with that than the model number Amazon lists. I have had Asus laptops for years and really liked them all. This one is no exception. There isn't a lot of extra crap software installed. The only thing I uninstalled is the McAfee that it comes with (Not my preferred Anti Virus software) There is 8GB soldered on the main board somewhere, but there is also a single SO-DIMM slot (The configuration I bought came with a 8GB stick in it so I had a total of 16GB when I bought it.) that will take at least a 32GB stick. That is the biggest I have tried and it works fine. If you run the Crucial scan it will not be able to determine what it is capable of but if you search for the base model for this as Asus X1605ZA you will find answers. So I have a total of 40GB of RAM on mine and I love it!!

Light and fast.
Iโve only had this for a month and Iโm satisfied! I stressed about purchasing the right laptop for months before making the decision. Itโs light, fast and has a large screen. Great for me, Iโm currently using it for typing court documents and research. Perfect

Battery life is way too short
So I initially wanted to leave this computer a better review. Its very functional - fast, great hard drive space, ideal for every day use. I use it for work. The problem is that you need to keep it plugged in because it does not have that 8-10 hour battery life that's advertised. As a matter of fact - just yesterday I participated in a 2 hour zoom call and unplugged it died an hour and a half into it. I had to plug it back in and log back in. This obviously makes it very inconvenient and kills the portable aspect of it as i dont always have a place to plug in. It's a real shame.

Not bad
Been using it for a while now it did get a bit slower which is a common laptop problem. But with icloud I think it'll last longer than the last one. Bought it while it was on sale. Hopefully it'll worth the money
