Great for Backup LED light, See Test Data Attached
I routinely use backup lighting around the house for repair projects, interior painting, or craft projects that need good strong lighting....as well as when the utility power goes out. Many years ago I bought a pair of photographic light stands with photoflood reflectors that accommodate typical screw-in light bulbs and provide a nice even flood of light on the subject area. They're my go-to lights for nearly any added-light need. In recent years I've switched them over to 1600-Lumen LED bulbs (100-watt-equivalent) that draw just 16 watts. The light stands are particularly good at accommodating light placement for good coverage...their only disadvantage is that one has to plug them in, which often requires the hassle and trip-risk of extension cords draped around the floor, and they need backup power if the utility is down. WELL...solution at hand. With the little Ecarke Portable Power Supply 200W Inverter with Makita-type battery added to my light stands, my need for extension cords is resolved and they even work when the utility is down. Now I just grab the light stands and inverter/battery when I need added light...so much more convenient than extension cords, and so much better light than typical portable battery-powered lights! As a test, I fully charged one of my 4 Ahr Makita 21V knockoff batteries to see how long my 16 watt (1600 Lm) LED bulb would last. To do the test, I hooked up a professional-quality ammeter between my battery and the Ecarke Inverter to see the exact amp draw of the Inverter under different conditions including the use of the internal light at its 3 levels. The life can then be easily calculated from the battery Ahr capacity without worrying whether my battery is a good or bad battery. Here are the results interpreted for a good 4 Ahr battery: Condition Current Runtime on 4 Ahr battery Inverter off (sleeping) 7 micro amps 65 years Inverter ON (no load) 0.11 amps 36 hours Inverter On (light 100%) 0.20 amps 20 hours Inverter On (light 75%) 0.17 amps 24 hours Inverter On (light 50%) 0.15 amps 27 hours Inverter ON (16 W Bulb) 0.93 amps 4.3 hours Conclusion First, when the unit is turned off, it draws essentially no current; I would say that it doesn't need to be removed from the battery...but it does need to be turned OFF. Once the unit is turned ON, it draws a modest current, even with NO loads attached and NO internal light ON. It can be left in this condition for a while, but it can totally drain the battery in a day or so. The internal light is quite bright and is good for about 24 hours on a 4 Ahr battery...the 3 levels make a small difference. With the plugged-in 1600-lumen 120-volt LED bulb, the unit drew almost 1 amp, giving around 4 hours of use...a very useful time for many projects. And this can be easily extended by 2x by using a smaller wattage LED bulb. Bottom Line: Very useful product...highly recommended!

Fast charging in a pinch or on the go!
Works as advertised, providing emergency power to recharge a portable vacuum cleaner. Completely recharged with near 50% remaining in the host. Light on the unit bright, all USB-C ports work. Nice little unit to have in a pinch. Price is right!

Good purchase!
I HAVE to have a fan to sleep at night and got concerned a storm would knock out our power, well not anymore! This thing is epic it’ll change your phone or power most small appliances. Works very well for a box fan a 5ah will keep it running for about an hr and a half on full power and 2.5hr on medium which is more than enough to get me asleep. Feels like decent quality and even has an adjustable light on top with several brightness settings. Does have a small fan that makes a sound but it’s not bad at all.

Great little handy device.
This thing is really cool. It's portable, fairly small, and works great. Last week we had a short power outage, so I loaned this to a neighbor. She used it to power a lamp and charge her phone. I plan on taking it on a road trip as a backup.

Strong Inverter Performance, Minor USB Limitations
I’ve been using this portable power inverter with my DeWALT batteries for both jobsite and home use, and overall it has performed very well. The AC outlet provides steady power and has had no trouble running multiple lamps and other plug-in devices at the same time. Output has been consistent, and I haven’t experienced overheating or sudden shutdowns. Battery efficiency has been better than expected. Even during extended use, it does not seem to drain batteries excessively, and I haven’t noticed any negative effects on battery performance afterward. The built-in LED light is a great added feature. It’s bright, practical, and useful for low-light work areas, power outages, or emergency situations. The only reason I’m rating this four stars instead of five is due to the USB charging ports. The standard USB ports do not appear to support fast charging, and the USB-C port caused an issue with one of my charging cords. That may have been coincidental, and I plan to test it again, but it’s worth noting for buyers who plan to rely heavily on USB charging. Overall, this is a well-built and dependable inverter. If your main use is the AC outlet for portable power, it performs exactly as it should and is a solid option for tools, lights, and everyday plug-in devices.

Worked out great.
Product worked out fine. I charged a cell phone from 57% to 100% in 2hours. I also ran a portable Blu Ray player with it. For light power on the go this should be great charging small devices for 2-3 days. As noted not the fastest charge but it gets the job done.

great inverter
What a life-saver! We purchased an air mattress to use on a camping trip, and the mattress has a "self inflating" feature. No where on the description did it say it needs a wall plug to inflate! After doing some research, we bought this power inverter which thankfully arrived before our camping trip. We used the AC port and the USB port during our trip, and everything worked so well. It was a little hard to tell that the inverter was powered on while charging a cell phone, but not a big enough deal to warrant removing a star. It didn't drain our Ryobi battery to inflate the mattress and charge a cell phone. I really like this inverter, I recommend it.

Cheap and defective
First off only half the buttons light up. Second it keeps shutting off cause the connection is extremely weak. Mine might be defective but I don’t wanna order another one and play the waiting game . There’s other brands . Grate idea horrible execution. And the light is good up to 6 feet. But it’s ok good for up close . UPDATE : it clicks in now . Had to slam in the battery in and after that it now slides in fine . Not sure what that was about but it works . This is a definite must if you have unused batteries laying around like me. 4 stars cause the buttons only light half way but still gonna keep it. The price is reasonable.
