Honest Review
Absolutely love these speakers. I have these on mounts in my home office and the Bluetooth feature is great I also have a line in input going into the speakers and amazed at the sound quality and ease to change the mode for input either on the remote or on the side of the right speaker. These speakers sound amazing and well worth the price. Don’t pass these up!!

From the UK with love...
Well-made, good-looking, sound great for their size. Good depth, clarity and imaging. Long warranty. Needed a bluetooth pair to replace some old Mackie CR3s that finally died. I love the lady with the British accent who tells me I'm connected...

The Most Musical and Enthralling Two Way Computer Speakers that I've Ever Heard!
I've been a fan of Higher End Audio since the late 70s. I have an excellent, older main system, and a bedroom system as well. I'm not interested in room-shaking explosions, or music that is over-produced to create emotional responses to films. I appreciate music and speech that sound natural, and spaced appropriately to let me concentrate on the different instruments and voices, as well as the whole sound. I look for something similar when I am on my computer, a sound that pulls me in, rather than jars. These speakers do it better than any other computer speakers that I've owned. These are replacing the well thought of Klipsch three piece Pro set, that I've used for many years. I have a motherboard with a Optical/Toslink port, and these speakers use Optical/Toslink as well as line/speaker in. I strongly recommend the Optical/Toslink, if you have that option. They do come with a remote that has the basic features. Nothing fancy, because it's not needed. It also has bluetooth capability... but since the speakers sit on my desk, I haven't tried it. Also,.They don't need stands, since their base has sound deadening pads on them. Highly recommended for people who listen to almost all types of music.

Don’t Pass On These Speakers!
I was pretty skeptical about purchasing a sub $100 pair of Bluetooth bookshelf sized speakers when I first started shopping. I’m so glad I decided to take a chance on a speaker company that I had never heard of. I use this pair mainly for listening to music apps like Apple and Pandora via my iPhone or iPad over Bluetooth. I’m a 64 year old ex airline pilot and my hearing definitely took a beating over the years of jet noise. These speakers sound better every time I listen to them. I leave the equalizer off in the music settings on my iPhone and iPad and set streaming quality to lossless and just let the speakers do their thing. The highs are very crisp and the lows are really tight at all listening levels. Even when I push them to their limit when I use them for surround sound via optical cable on my tv they refuse to distort or clip. I’ve owned “audiophile” quality brands of speakers and these sound as good or better than similar sized and powered other brands. Give them a try, set them up correctly, and prepare to be blown away.

Plenty loud, but Bass is missing
First of all, the good. They look great, and have plenty of volume. They sound clear in the mids and highs. They’re super easy to setup, and Bluetooth is easy to connect, and they work well. Now, the not so good. Bass drops out at low volumes. I had to set Bass to Max and treble to the lowest level to get any semblance of bass in the music. This is for everything from Classical, to Country, to Rock, to Pop to R&B. I didn’t expect room shaking sound, or anything ridiculous, but you should be able to at least hear the bass notes at all volumes, and these just haven’t done that for me.

Decent
I’m using them for my TV and for listening to music. The provide a richer experience while watching movies and gaming. They sound pretty god for music, they aren’t going too give a life changing experience but they are worth the money for sure.

Terrible sound: too quiet
I bought this set thinking it would be loud enough for my new Victrola record player. The record player is louder than the speakers and the speakers cost more. They are terrible for the price.

These are awesome for the price, got mine for $118 , couldn't be happier. Plenty loud for the size, bass is adequate, heaps of connections, they look good as well. Only criticism is a visual indicator of the treble, bass and volume would be handy , but otherwise I highly recommend these

The MAJORITY D40x Active Bookshelf Speakers offer an impressive blend of style, power, and sound quality that make them a strong contender in the budget-friendly HiFi speaker market. With their vibrant Kevlar yellow woofers, these speakers not only catch the eye but also deliver a surprisingly rich and detailed audio experience for their price range. Design and Build Quality The first thing that stands out about the D40x is its bold design. The Kevlar yellow woofers are a distinctive feature that adds a pop of color to any setup. The cabinets are compact yet sturdy, making them suitable for various spaces, from desktop setups to small living rooms. The build quality is solid, with a well-finished exterior that feels durable and premium despite the affordable price tag. Sound Performance For a set of speakers in this price range, the MAJORITY D40x delivers commendable audio quality. The 70-watt output provides more than enough power to fill a room with sound. The Kevlar drivers are particularly effective at producing clear mid-range frequencies, which is crucial for vocal clarity and detail in music. The bass response is deep and punchy, though it might lack the thump that bass enthusiasts seek. The highs are crisp, although they can occasionally border on sharpness at higher volumes. Bluetooth and Connectivity The inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity adds a layer of convenience, allowing for wireless streaming from smartphones, tablets, or other devices. The pairing process is straightforward, and the connection is stable within the typical Bluetooth range. Additionally, the speakers come equipped with RCA and AUX inputs, making them versatile for wired connections to various audio sources, such as turntables, TVs, or PCs. User Experience Setting up the D40x is a breeze, thanks to the plug-and-play nature of the speakers. The controls are intuitive, with easy access to volume adjustment and input selection on the rear panel. The remote control, while basic, is a useful addition for those who prefer to adjust settings from a distance. Value for Money The MAJORITY D40x Active Bookshelf Speakers offer excellent value for their price. They provide a well-rounded audio performance that surpasses expectations for budget speakers, particularly in the mid-range clarity and overall sound balance. The added bonus of Bluetooth connectivity and the eye-catching design make them a great option for those looking to upgrade their audio setup without breaking the bank. Conclusion Overall, the MAJORITY D40x Active Bookshelf Speakers are a fantastic choice for anyone seeking stylish, powerful, and versatile speakers at an affordable price. Whether you’re using them for music, movies, or casual listening, these speakers deliver a satisfying audio experience that will impress both casual listeners and audiophiles alike. Rating: 4.5/5

I am genuinely blown away by the quality of these speakers. You can’t see it well in photos but they have a beautiful wood grain effect which pairs beautifully with the gloss black and yellow. The sound quality is seriously incredible for the price.
