All corded window treatments are a death trap. Nothing you do will make cords safe.. Ask me the mom of a child who died from the cord of a blind. The best solution is go cord free !!!! Do not have the thought " it would never happen to me" you can ask the 100's of mom and dads , brothers and sisters and grandparents... Cords will kill your children !!!

This is exactly what I was looking for! The big box stores had brass, nickel, chrome, clear and steel but no white. I used these to put around the main entrance to our facility. Many florist decorate the front door for weddings and various events and used to put screws in wherever they wanted too. This caused a perpetual filling sanding and repainting of the area around the front entrance. Now with these discreet white cleats we do not have that problem any more. The white blends in nicely with the white painted surface of the entrance. They are not invisible but they do not scream at you "look at me I'm an ugly pice of hardware" either. Our mangement and guests have been pleased so far. THe plastic seems durable enough for our purposes of hanging flowers and decorations. Would be nice if the screw heads were coated white to match the cleat. I had to use some white caulk to fill the hole/heads and it is not a match.

My mom made Roman Shade style curtains for my son's nursery, and we use these cleat hooks for the string. They are sturdy, work well, and look nice. My husband installed them in about 2 minutes.
