Helps take the edge off without overdoing it
We use these for our rescue dog who has some anxiety from his past, and they’ve made a noticeable difference. What I like:Helps calm him without making him overly sleepyEasy to give and he takes them without a problemGood for everyday stress or situations that might trigger anxietyThings to know:It’s not an instant fix—more of a gentle, gradual supportResults may vary depending on your dogWorks best when used consistentlyWho this is good for:Dogs with mild to moderate anxietySituations like separation, storms, or new environmentsPet owners looking for a more natural calming optionFinal thoughts:These don’t completely eliminate anxiety, but they definitely take the edge off. For us, it’s been a helpful part of keeping our dog more comfortable and relaxed.

Great for relaxing our older Lab in the evenings!
These calming chews are perfect for our old lab ....he has had problems sleeping through the night , gets up and starts walking around not knowing what he's doing. He gets a couple of these about 20 minutes before his bedtime and he sleeps all night! We all get a good nights sleep! (Also works for long car rides to the lake)

Works Pretty Well
Short Version: Pup loves the taste, it works decently well.We have a 20 pound Shiba almost a year old. Based on her weight the recommended does is one treat, which has very little noticeable difference. It caaan make her more calm but she can still have big spurts of energy or craziness. Could be that her puppy excitement overpowers the treat. My brother come over once after we had given her a treat, and she went crazy, peeing on the floor from excitement. We tried two treats, monitored her carefully just in case and she was fine, but two treats is definitely much more effective. She is much calmer, more likely to nap too. She loves the taste of it too. Also the treat is pretty big but it does fit inside even a puppy sized Kong toy which was a plus for us.

Works and my dog LOVES it
I was spectacle that this would help my dog calm down during the incredible windstorms that we have been experiences - BUT IT WORKED. My dog is about 14 pounds, so I used one chew - half in the morning and evening before his bedtime. What was important to me was that he would not experience an upset - he didn't. Our rescue dog loves the peanut butter flavor, just shake the container and he comes running. Also worked during a very loud thunderstorm. Zesty Paws - THANKS....

I’m not sure what to say but I’ve got a story
oh boy, do I have a story to share! My furry friend, who usually eats everything from lint off the floor to my shoes (true story), made me question if these bites would pass her taste test.At first, I wasn't sure if she'd enjoy the taste. I mean, who can predict a dog's palate, right? But I decided to give it a shot and offered her one in the morning for a week straight. To my surprise, her behavior remained unchanged. Not one to give up easily, I upped the ante and tried two bites – one in the AM and one in the PM. Still, no noticeable difference in her anxiety levels. Then came the day of dread – nail clipping. If you've ever tried this with a dog who despises it, you know the struggle. That's when my partner had a brilliant idea. They crushed up two of these Peanut Butter Calming Bites and, lo and behold, our pup miraculously calmed down for the entire nail-clipping session. We continued crushing them up, and it did seem like she was acting calmer, but honestly, it's hard to say if it was the bites or her mind playing tricks on her. Dogs are mysterious creatures, aren't they? Now, here's the part you might want to watch out for: if your dog has a sensitive tummy, these might not be the right choice. Our girl turned into a little gas factory, and we endured a month of daily "serenades." 🎶💨In the end, Peanut Butter Calming Bites turned out to be a mixed bag of tricks for us. They might not have worked like magic for our dog's anxiety, but they did provide some unexpected relief during nail-clipping nightmares. Just remember, every pup is unique, so your mileage may vary! 🐕🥜#DogTreats #CalmingBites #FurryFriendAnxiety

Needs A Little Something Extra For Palatability
My Chihuahua has terrible separation anxiety. He has to be crated while I am out or he will destroy whatever is in front of him (in the crate he just destroys what he can reach). When I get home he's so keyed up it takes at least two hours (and two walks) to get him to calm down. Obviously he doesn't like being crated, but if he's not he will destroy the walls, carpet, etc.I've tried numerous products (soft chews, drops, etc.) to try and manage his anxiety. Nothing has worked.I received this product (the peanut butter "flavor") yesterday, and offered some to Jupiter. He REFUSED it and he loves peanut butter.I don't blame him, they SMELL WRETCHED*.So I put a little (real) PB on it. He licked off the PB and walked away from the rest.Next, I mashed up the "test" dose, mixed it into some PB and gave it to him on a spoon. Eureka! He went right for it.Now we just need to find out if he has any bad reaction to it and does it make any difference in his anxiety/hyperactivity levels or not.Update: The first day I left him alone after ingesting about half a chew I came home to find he'd had what we consider a bad day. I don't have a spy camera so I don't know at what point he went nuts and tore at the mat under the crate and pulled his extra blanket into the crate and chewed (yet another) hole in it.I didn't give him any over the weekend. This morning I decided to try again. I mushed up 1/4 of a chew and added some cream cheese to it. He ate all of it (even the bits that did not have the cream cheese on them). I put another 1/4 chew into his bowl. He took that out of the bowl and to the carpet (where he likes to eat his treats). At first he snubbed it, but after a minute he ate the 1/4 without any additional flavor "incentive". Granted he'd not had his breakfast yet, and was hungry. It will remain to be seen if he has a better day today than Friday.Updated: I gave him one without anything else on/mixed in, and he tossed it out of his crate. The bits he did eat did NOTHING to calm him. I discussed this with his vet and I am thinking about trying Prozac.I eventually returned it.* Note to manufacturer: While dogs (mine included) can often be indiscriminate about what they ingest (plastic, coins, poop) if you're offering something to them as a treat it shouldn't smell/taste like the bottom of a dumpster.

Calming chews for dogs.
I work really good for calming your dog down when a thunderstorm is rolling in.

I always keep this in stock at my house
Loud noises seem to bother my dog. Think of thunder think of fireworks think of cars backfiring. My dog also is not overly fond of car rides either. My dog weighs around 50 pounds and I give her two of these as a reward after dinner. I find it does the trick. If there’s something bothering her during the day, I will give them to her and it will take a little while for her to calm down. she doesn’t particularly seem to be drugged up, which is another thing that I like.

Huge disappointment, then it turned around
I was really hopeful these would work, but my dog who is absolutely crazy about peanut butter wouldn't eat them 😞 Spent way too much on something that he doesn't like. He loves everything.Update: He is a 140lb dog and ended up eating 2 of the 3 I gave him, as per the directions, and they worked so fast!!

Please DO NOT purchase this for your dog. My dog got extremely sick from just 1/3
Please do not give this to your dog. My dog has been extremely sick all morning from this supplement. He only at 1/3 of a pill and he’s been vomiting nonstop and diarrheaing. We are now taking him to the vet. Please save your money and do not purchase this. I never write bad reviews but this definitely deserves 0 stars.
