I have used normal (ie non-magnetic; sticky) pop sockets before. I had a gigantic phone and smedium sized hands, and using a pop socket was a serious game changer for me. Now I still have a gigantic phone, but I have also gotten a case with a magnetic ring, making using magsafe accessories possible. I was a little apprehensive about relying on a magnet to securely hold on to my phone, but it has proven to be incredibly strong and secure. It feels just as secure as a sticky pop socket. I'm incredibly impressed. It doesn't add much thickness, and it looks good in combination with my phone and case. I like the form factor of the pop socket more than its competitors. I'm not a fan of rings. The cone shape of the pop socket makes it accessible from all angles. And it's comfortable to hold between my fingers. Using the pop socket as a stand works well, as usual. In landscape mode, it is set at a nice angle. I don't often exchange the top part for different patterns, but the option is still there. You can use the top of a regular pop socket in combination with the magnetic base, if you wish. One downside of the original pop socket was that I had to sacrifice wireless charging. While I don't use it often, having the option to use it is nice. And I didn't want to take my whole case off just to utilise it. With this magsafe pop socket, the problem is solved! I don't have to sacrifice wireless charging. I simply have to take off the pop socket. (And in combination with the case, I can use many magsafe accessories). For reference, I have the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. For other Samsung Ultra users that may be interested: yes, the s pen is affected when the pop socket is attached. Unfortunately this is unavoidable because of the strong magnetic interactions. However, the solution is as simple as taking the pop socket off! After which, s pen functionality is back to normal. One con I can think of is that is pretty expensive for what it is. Overall, I highly recommend this magsafe compatible pop socket. It makes handling a huge phone easy. It's very comfortable and secure. Wireless charging and all magsafe features are still available to use just by taking off the pop socket.

Works very well, the magnet is very strong. As strong as the original popsocket you stick on the case.

Works like a charm, very nice that it’s detachable so I can still use magsafe chargers. Can’t use phone without it now
