These Icy Hot XL patches are a great option when you need targeted pain relief over a larger area. The extra-large size works especially well for my back. I really like the combination of the cooling menthol sensation followed by a gentle warming feeling—it provides soothing relief without being messy like creams.The fabric patch is comfortable, stays in place well, and is easy to apply. I also appreciate being able to put one on and go about my day without constantly reapplying anything. These are convenient to keep on hand for occasional aches, soreness, and muscle discomfort. Overall, a very handy and effective pain-relief product!

I bought this expecting three boxes (3 count as labelled in product description and as shown in the product images) but only received 1 box with 3 patches inside - instead of 3 boxes each with 3 patches inside. Quite frankly, $18 for 1 box of icy hot with just 3 patches is really ridiculous. Reading through these reviews, I see this is a consistent problem with this product - some people get 3 boxes with 9 patches total and other gets 1 box with just 3 patches total.

Wow! These are amazing for my low back pain. The generous size covers a very large area. They begin to work within minutes and last a solid 8 hours. These help my pain go from from severe (8/10) to minimal (2/10) without the use of stomach-irritating pain relievers. Smell is minimal and tolerable. May seem pricey at 3 patches per box but for all -day pain relief, these are well worth it. We always keep a box on hand for the 2-3 x year we need them. They are a bit tricky to apply, best to have some help. Can also be cut into smaller sizes, just cut a slit in the top to help with peeling. Make sure you apply to clean and dry skin and smooth it out while applying a bit of pressure to help it adhere better. Hold it in place with a fitted tee tucked under your clothes.

This is a life saver. It's large enough to go across your back.
