Simply doesn't work - item returned.
Very curious results in the beginning which we thought were showing us that our pots were overwatered - following this we did not water the pots for many days. However, after getting many "wet" results from pots we checked the soil and it was it was dry. Not only this but borders that were soaked by us we checked them half an hour later and they showed as completely dry - not even moist. I live in the UAE and I suspect that either this device is defective or it's not working properly in such warm environment.

Takes the guesswork out of watering plants
I’ve had lots of plants in my house for years and have never had an issue with watering them, even if I miss a week they’re very forgiving. However, strangely since Christmas, a few of them have been almost waterlogged and one plant in particular just doesn’t seem to dry out (it’s still alive and doing well). So I bought this little gadget which works a treat. Wipe the end of the probe with paper towel before inserting into the soil each time and it reads accurately. The plant I know was very wet immediately showed up as that on the easy to read display. I generally water my plants weekly so now by using this gadget if it tells me it’s “wet” then I just ignore that plant for that week. It’s been really helpful so thank you!

En riktigt bra jordfuktighetsmätare! Lång sensor som kommer djupt ner i jorden där rötterna finns. Den gav utslag direkt, utan fördröjning, precis som det angavs i produktbeskrivningen. OBS: Sonden ska inte doppas i vatten eller annan vätska, då går den sönder. Är väldigt nöjd med mätaren. 👍 Snabb leverans också 👍

Takes the guesswork out of watering
A must-have for anyone who wants to keep houseplants healthy without constantly guessing when they need water. It makes it much easier to tell when the soil is actually dry rather than relying on the surface appearance. It is a bit of an investment compared with cheaper moisture meters, but mine has been working very well for the last couple of years and is still in relatively new condition. Based on that, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to make plant watering easier and more reliable.
