This is absolutely amazing stuff. Been using the raid flying insect aerosol spray and traps to manage flies and skeeters around our homestead since the beginning. Decided to try out this lemongrass geraniol oil blend a couple days ago. And I must say, it kills faster than the aerosol which causes them to fly around in a panic and takes several minutes to kill, whereas this stuff grounds them instantly and kills within a minute or two. The lingering scent also does a great job at repelling them afterward. It smells much better than the "fresh scent" aerosol by far, and does a great job at masking attractant odors. A few sprays in the chicken coop, and flies are gone for days on end! This has not only saved me the trouble of making my own lemongrass oil, but the added subtle mint really boosts the longevity and performance. The geraniol content is very low, which is great for use around our livestock, people, and pets. This is my new go to replacement for deet and basically everything else. I wouldn't try this on bees or hives, and stick to the wasp and hornet spray with the real permethrin derivatives. But for everything else this is my first choice! It's inexpensive, and worth a try. Works great on clothing, too; better than deet25!

Effectively kills those tiny, annoying, flying bugs we call gnats. In my experience, it is killing them faster and for longer than traditional flying insect sprays. It being safer is a great bonus. The spray doesn't have an offensive odor.

The smell is OK, neither good nor bad to me. It is mostly mineral oil so what you spray may need to be cleaned after, depending on where you use it. GERANIOL even a 1.50% is an insecticide, although you may end up smothering the fly in the mineral oil before the Geraniol kills him. It should also repel flies as do other essential oils such as peppermint. I'd really give it a 3 1/2 stars if I could. It can be a useful item depending on where and why you use it. Those toxic chemicals from regular RAID around pets and kids always bothered me. So, I'd get it again, but use it it with some care. The price is OK. Many peoplke dislike the smell. I is not pleasant to me but better tham regular RAID's lavender smell.

Tiny ant infestation for years, any crumb or drink left out would draw parades. Bought two pack thinking I would need many applications; a half dozen pumps along both parade routes (kitchen/dining and living areas) has stopped activity for two weeks so far. Pleasant odor too

Pro: It dues a really good job of killing ants. Con: your whole house will smell like lemon, so use very sparingly.
