I was not quite sure what to expect with this Blume Beetroot Latte powder. In fact, I was somewhat apprehensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty this was. Strengths: 1 Made in Canada. 2 Made as directed, it provided a tasty pink drink with gentle flavors of clove, cinnamon, and ginger. The beetroot provided a subtle flavor that reminded me a little (I said, a little) of a strawberry drink. (I don't know, maybe it was the color that influenced me!) I added 1 teaspoon of sugar and that provided just the sweetness that I preferred. I placed the beetroot milk mixture over ice--I liked that better than just plain. I also tried it with just boiling water and drank it as a hot tea. Did not quite work for me, but some might like it. 3 Would be yummy added to a smoothie. While I have not tried it, perhaps as an ingredient in bread? Of course, it would change the color and flavor in a bread. Drawbacks: 1 At time of order, 1 packet was about $25 dollars--so there is a higher price point. Overall: Quite enjoyed this! However, if you are not a beetroot fan, back off.

No, no, no, no, no. I bought this for two reasons. I enjoyed several Clevr brand lattes and wanted to branch out a little, see what else was out there. I enjoy beets and I know that I can always customize to my taste, when necessary. I tore open the package and without opening the resealable strip, red dust shot out everywhere. When I opened the resealable strip, a cloud of red dust arose from the pouch. It takes a lot to discourage me, so I continued. I heated water and used the recommended serving side then mixed into my mug. It’s red like beets are. I sipped it and it tasted like I was drinking potpourri. (Heavy cloves and cinnamon, ginger) I sweetened it with two Splenda. Nope, not to my liking. It has a slight burn when you taste it. I added half n half to see if it would make it more palatable. Nope. Just a nice red ring around the top of my mug. Beet grinds stick in my gums. Ick. Very beet flavored with a slight burn no matter how you prepare it. Won’t buy it again. Maybe you’ll like it.

It's ok, I'm trying to find a replacement for their pumpkin spice one that i add to my chai tea. This one is not as strong and flavorful. It's one of the few they make that doesn't have that terrible maca root that I hate. They put that maca root in everything. This one you can definitely taste the beets and it's too earthy for me. Why can't we have pumpkin spice all year? Really annoying.

Not gonna lie, I think it's expensive. But I really love the flavor. Not sure if I can taste the beetroot, but I'd like to say that I can? lol. It's a bit sweet but not sugar sweet, it tastes natural. And the thing about this is that it's quite spicy! I love that nice heat to wake you up in the morning. I find it to be a good blend of spices with sweetness from beets. I'm a pretty big fan.. if you like beet type of drinks with spices this might be good. And right, it doesn't blend well. Either take a shot or keep mixing it before you take a sip

Not going to lie, this concoction was a little off putting. Where I could taste the clove and cinnamon there was just a weird aftertaste that kept me from drinking the rest of it. As anyone knows, if it doesn't sit right on the pallet of your taste bud's then it will more than likely go to waste, which this did.
