This is a good product. It cleans as well as the Phillips brand that I had been using for a better price.

Much better than one used cartridges. Just clean out a used cartridge under running water and refill with this. I clean much more often now and razor is running great.

I got this for use with my Braun Series 9 cleaning station. I wanted to try something that wasn't alcohol based as I find my face is sensitive to the isopropyl alcohol residue and this was one of the few things that fit the bill. The big difference between this and the alcohol-based solutions is that it froths up a lot. I lock the head of my razor at a slight angle when I put it into the cleaning station to prevent it splashing. The other thing is that the drying cycle does not completely dry the razor at all. It was designed to evaporate alcohol, so this is not that surprising, but this might be a deal breaker for some people as a cold wet razor head isn't a nice feeling. What I actually do is run hot water over the head before and after I use it, leaving the cleaning solution to handle the sanitization and lubrication part. You are meant to dilute the solution 1:1 with water so it goes pretty far, I'd estimate I can refill my cleaning station cartridge at least 9 times based on the volume I used. The smell is mild and citrusy.

Works just like the original Norelco solution, even has the same eucalyptus smell once you mix it with water. 1. Rinse out the old Norelco clean pod cartridge with warm water and soap if needed to remove all the hair. 2. Add 80ml of the Cleanu solution and 80ml of water. I marked the sides of the pod with a pen at 80ml and 160ml to easily refill again. 3. Insert in Quick Clean Pod, reassemble and you are good to go. 4. Another benefit if the solution is running low in the pod you can top it off with a small amount of Cleanu and water if you do not want to go thru the whole process. It is best to toss any remaining liquid after 3 months in the pod as it does get a little stale. The key with Cleanu is it foams to clean properly in the quick clean pod and has a pleasant smell compared to other available options. I created a custom drying stand to speed up the drying process, but it dries as quick as the Notelco solution.

Works as advertised. At least as good as the ones from Norelco and a lot cheaper to boot.

Nice, less expensive solution for refilling Philips Norelco razor cleaners. Pleasant scent and concentrated.
