eufy Security Indoor Cam C210, 1080p Resolution, No Monthly Fee

We bought this camera as an add on to our outside home security as it was a Eufy product. It is now being used as an indoor camera in our son’s room and is outstanding. Easy to add to the App and we can see all our cameras in one place. No subscription, easy to use and assemble and outstanding value for money, if your in the market, I would need to be convinced to swap to another product. No connectivity issues, no battery life issues, looks good and does the job I wanted it to do.

I love the Eufy brand. It's so easy to set up and connect to the WiFi. The picture quality is great and even the night vision picture is good enough. I use this to keep an eye o my dog while I am at work and as the camera has a tracking function if he moves around the camera follows him. It can be quite annoying if someone is in the house and you keep getting notifications that someone is moving inside your house but to overcome this, if someone is at home then you can turn secrecy mode on which is amazing. Overall a great product

Apart from a few initial pairing issues, I find this camera to be a great job. The app is reasonably straight forward and easy to use, picture quality is great and it does exactly what I want it too. At first it seemed over sensitive but a bit of fine tuning had it running well as a CCTV camera for my car. Good value for money too.

This camera doesn't mention that, when paired with the Homebase 3, it supports human recognition, pet detection and vehicle detection. I nearly didn't buy it because of these omissions and I stumbled across the extra features by accident. I initially installed the camera, connected it to the Homebase 3 and updated the firmware, but it didn't make these other capabilities visible in the app. I also have a number of eufy C220 cameras, and with one of those I removed it from my system and re-added it and suddenly had these extra capabilities listed. I decided to try it with my C210, and lo and behold, removing and re-adding the camera within the app suddenly gave me these extra capabilities with that too! I believe these extra capabilities are only available when the camera is paired with the Homebase 3, so it won't work when you're using it as a standalone camera, but with the Homebase 3, they're a nice set of extra features. These seem to be frequently at discounted prices, and for the price, they're pretty fantastic, especially if you have the Homebase 3. My main criticism is with the app. In the custom security modes it should allow you to use the "Privacy Mode" to point the camera away and turn it off. Currently that's only available in the "Home" mode, but I'd like to have a second mode where I can also do that, and it currently doesn't allow me that option.

I got this camera because I bought the Eufy E340 doorbell and wanted everything in one app. This camera is very comparable to the Google nest in terms of image quality - but that’s where this camera wins on everything else. No subscription and has better features than any other camera on the market and it’s all free! So couple of points, it’s easy to install, took 5 mins. Motion detection is very damn good. I had to turn the sensitivity down. Quality is 10/10 and the night vision mode is also damn good. One thing that I absolutely LOVE is that I can switch between modes of “I’m staying” and “I’m leaving” I’ve set it so that it ONLY sends me notifications when I click “I’m leaving” because otherwise my phone was constantly buzzing with notifications of me walking around. I’ve attached some screenshots that show you can also have AI active track which works really well, not so well at tracking my cat though. Definitely recommend this. I bought 2 for 2 rooms.

I bought this camera to use inside the house to watch the dogs, and to see which one was opening the door. They are clever dogs so I now resort to having to lock the door to allow the cold to stay out. However, it is a great easy to use little camera Which I put a memory stick inside. It is linked to my phone with notifications. The picture is exceptionally clear. If I am not at home, I am also able to talk to the dogs. I have recently decided to buy a package deal with Eufy as the quality of their cameras are exceptional. I have yet to set up the outdoor cameras and garage camera with sensor lights. I think to have a camera downstairs facing the doors is a good idea as external cameras will pick up anybody on your property but it doesn’t prove should you be unfortunate to be broken into that they were inside your property?. Just being cautious.

Actually not a bad camera, works well. Quality and sound is good. The only thing with eufy security, specially the outside battery cams, they can be hit and miss on detection, and then sending a notification. These permentaly plugged in ones, do seem much more reliable. The pan and tilt is good, stream live viewing, to mobile, anywhere in the world, as long as you have data, and that can be by mobile data, so you don't need wifi, or a hot spot. The app can be a bit slow to respond, mostly on the battery outside cams, person can be long gone, before a notification gets sent / received. But this inside camera, seems to work well.

Avoid this camera. It is cheap for a reason and that is because it is made of terrible components. I have 3 of these and they all have the same problem of not loading immediately when you want to view a recorded clip or live feed. It just spins and spins and then drops a “cannot connect” message. After several tries it suddenly works, and will work for the next few tries before the cycle of no connectivity starts again. These cameras only use the 2.4GHz wifi spectrum so if you have many devices it could cause interference, but my other Eufy cameras like the 2k Pan and Tilt cams on the same frequency work without issue, so why? Even with nothing but these devices connected to the router I get issues. I use Asus routers, which are pretty good, so it is definitely not the router. I experiments and tried connecting it to cheap routers like the ones from TP-Link or the ones that come from ISPs like Virgin Media Media Hub 5, and funnily enough those had a higher chance of succeeding first time, but you will still run into the cannot connect message half the time. There is something going on here that makes no sense to me. Just avoid this model and get the slightly more expensive ones that offer better connectivity and responsiveness.

Very difficult to set any of these systems up using a Macbook. No info from manufacturer themselves - have to go to chat groups. Basically you have to use a 'phone app.' - reflecting this brand is not really aimed at proper surveillance system.
