This kit has literally everything you need to complete the projects. They all turned out so cute and had plenty of yarn with some even left over. The instructions are very easy to follow (if you already have a basic understanding of crochet). Between both the videos and written instructions, I think everything could be figured out by a beginner though. I found it actually much cheaper to buy the kit rather than buying all the yarn colors and patterns separately. Pictured is my wall of crochet plants and I circled the plants that came from this kit. Very happy with my purchase and had a lot of fun doing it. Hope they come out with more patterns.

I still did not finish all patterns, so my rate ir regarding of what you get with the kit and the quality of the items. It comes with everything as advertised. It also comes with 2 instruction books, which cover the basics of the stitches and the patterns for each plant and pot/basket. Also, you get a code to access the youtube videos, where a person shows how to do each plant/pot/basket. The yarn is not the same as used for the images. It is a thin and low quality yarn, which easily divides in 6 strings. I am relatively new to crochet (but I do other kinds of craft) and I found the yarn horrible. If you are a beginner, I suggest to not start with this kit. The youtube videos are essential to complete this kit, and I found this not nice. The instruction book should be more complete. I need to finish the plants, but I will probably use other yarn for the pots. With the ones from the kit it is impossible to keep the pots standing by itself. It is too flimsy. In general the kit is fine. I removed one star because of the yarn.

These little guys are so cute!! The instructions are very easy to follow and I love that this little kit can make so many little succulents. Still working on finishing them all, but so far they look great.

Wasn’t user friendly and seemed complicated because you had to go online and watch videos but i would have preferred instructions to come with the product.

This was purchased as a gift for an 11-year-old. The kit is really cute.

Bought this as a gift for a work friend who wanted to get into crochet. She absolutely loved it! She’s big into plants so she was excited to make these. Great quality and I thought it was good for the price as well.

This is NOT a beginners crochet kit. In fact, as I am learning more and more about crochet, this is quite advanced and difficult. One other thing is the yarn is poor quality because it keeps splitting. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner!

Cute! Haven’t done any yet though. Comes with all you need. Unmarked box though so if giving as a gift not clear what the kit makes until you look at 2nd instruction book.

This is going to sound weird, but I'd only recommend this for the most beginnery beginner of crochetist. The instructions provided with the kit are not actually instructions, they're only bare minimum patterns for the major parts of the kit. For the actual instructions there are deathly slow videos that do show you how to do everything but in agonizingly slow detail. The kit is pretty extensive and even includes stitch markers, yarn needles, snips, wire - it really is everything you need. The yarn is terribly annoying. It separates really easily (the WORST for crocheting) and they aren't all the same weights so they don't really fit together as they should - the dark brown is the most annoying of them all. But there are some baffling choices for assembly - stitch together each leaf, then stitch each leaf together in a cluster and then... Glue the cluster onto the pot? Just stitch the cluster on!! They're super cute, but there are tons of super cute patterns out there to use if you have all the other stuff.
