Two of the ones that came with our house recently conked out, so lasted about 9 years. Not too difficult to fit and significantly more powerful than cheap jobs from Wickes and the like. Quite noisy but does the job relatively effectively.

Powerful but they dont last long.
Second I replace in two years. I have been replacing the same model but I would look for an alternative if it breaks a third time. They are also quite expensive, I am unclear why it is the case. In terms of suction, It is quite strong, reason I have been buying the same model despite reliability issues.

Arrived damaged
Had to buy a replacement because the first one arrived broken. On both occasions, the box appeared to have been opened, even though both were bought as new. However, the second one I bought is now working fine.
