Not recommended. Beware! Requires external software. Sigrok Pulseview is the referenced software in all the youtube videos but the site is offline. The GitHub repository routes back to the website. So basically, you have no way to use this. The version that I found on the WayBack Machine site did not even load in modern Windows (11). The Zadig USB driver is very clunky and the chances of you loading the driver for the wrong device are pretty high, first time through the process. Even when the driver install says that it worked, the device still shows up as Unknown Device. Instructions are non-existent. NO RETURN. If you like to waste time and money on your electronics project, this is perfect.

I read all the reviews before ordering and decided to take a risk. I was hoping that a year later the test hook clip issue referenced by another reviewer over a year ago would be resolved. It wasn't. They still need soldering to use them. Other than that, the logic analyzer works great and I was able to get Sigrok PulseView working with no problems (after reading the documentation on their site). Once the driver is configured to work with PulseView (using Zadag) the device is very easy to use and I was able to capture UART data from my mini split. Ultimately, I was able to do what I needed to do with this kit but I'm disappointed that they are still selling the test clips that require extra work.

Arrived quickly and works perfect. You will need to find the software online, but once you do, the setup is straightforward and help me resolved issues with my i2c connection.

The provided female jumper connectors don't attach to the provided clips without disassembly and soldering! There's just nowhere to attach them. You'll need to disassemble the clips, then cut, strip and solder the wires to them and reassemble. Very disappointed!

I spent a couple of hours searching for software for this. I never did find anything that worked very well. Kinda useless without a clue on what software I'm supposed to use with it. OR a statement that "we copied this from XYZ, please use their software"

Glad I got this product under the Vine product review because I’d be returning it. I agree with most of the reviews on here. There is no software, no help, go instructions for this unit. I’ve been doing some chip work and thought this could be helpful. I was so wrong. There is no place online I can find that has any information regarding this unit. Do not buy unless you l know exactly what this does and how to use it.
