It's very lightweight, breathable, and comfortable to wear, even on warm days. The UPF 50+ fabric and the extra-long bill provide noticeably better sun coverage for my face than a standard baseball cap. One of my favorite features is that the brim folds, allowing the hat to fit easily into a backpack or even a larger pocket without losing its shape. Now that I've been able to take the cap for a "test drive" I can report on my experience. I should note that my version of the cap is style "A," with side mesh. I wore it during a vigorous five-mile hike. Normally, on this hike, under present weather conditions, my head would be soaking wet if I were wearing a cotton cap. As I hiked, I could feel the air circulating under my cap whenever the wind picked up. It was pleasant and felt much lighter, softer, and drier than any of my cotton caps. At the end of the hike -- after walking briskly up a steep hill in the hot sun -- my scalp was just slightly damp from sweat. What a pleasure! I can also report that the cap fits my relatively larger head quite comfortably -- and it didn't fly away with a few moderate gusts of wind. I also appreciate the longer brim and how I can fold the cap easily enough to place it in a pocket. With all of this praise, you're probably wondering why I'm rating it less than five stars. Basically, the cap has an annoying design flaw. The back of the cap can be adjusted using a long flexible strap. In my case, after adjusting the cap to fit, a significant length of remaining strap (the "tail") simply dangles beyond the closure. The seller says to "hide the tail of the strap back to the cap after adjustment." One problem: the tail doesn't extend back to the cap, and tucking it under the other part of the strap doesn't help unless the strap is really tight. I could simply shorten the excess by cutting it or trying to secure it some other way. It's just an annoyance at this point. Also, the cap is exactly as pictured -- and you might prefer style "E" without a logo. In fact, even with its minor flaws, I'll probably buy another one of these caps in a different color. It's a good price, it's comfortable and effective, and I'd expect it to last for many more hikes.

I’ve reached the point I need to wear a hat when outside and this has become my everyday hat. The SPF rating is a plus. Hat’s vented sides help keep it cool. This hat is particularly great for traveling. It folds nicely and fits in your pocket or purse. This is a great deal and a quality hat. I highly recommend.

This is a very good item. The visor is longer and it protects quite well. Easy to adjust the size. Fold neatly

It's lightweight, has a nice shape, and fits well. I have owned it for one year. I wear it a couple of times per week for 2 hours playing pickleball. I have washed it 5-8 times in a gentle cycle, no bleach, with a hat form during wash to keep it's form. I let it sit to air dry on the counter. Unfortunately, the hat started showing wear within a few months. The stitching is coming undone and the reflective fabric on the borders of the hat have peeled off.

Fit me well right out of the box and looks well made. I especially like that the visor is relatively large compared to some other baseball caps I compared it to, so it does a good job of keeping rain and sun off my face. The visor extends out about 3 inches as shown by the product listing and is about 6.5 to 7 inches wide depending on how I measure it. The larger visor does limit upward visibility somewhat though. I bought a second one to keep as a spare.

My fault I guess but I ordered this cap thinking it came with the front and back face and neck veils, as appears in some of the pictures. Seems I ordered just the cap which came with no veils. As they were the whole point of the purchase I am disappointed. Be very careful when selecting your order that you are ordering what you think. As for the cap it seems to be OK quality but in my view a bit pricey for just a cap.

Nice comfortable hat, packs away nice and small. The bill could do with being a bit wider - it’s very narrow.
