I live in Hawaii where it is sunny most days. I found I had to add quite a bit of water to my pool due to evaporation at least once a week, sometimes more in the summer. Since installation of the solar blanket, I haven’t had to add water to the pool yet (it’s been over a month) and had to lower the pool level when we had several days of heavy rain. It was super easy to install and easy to cut to shape (mine is a kidney shaped pool). If you have a rectangular shape pool, it’ll be even easier! The blanket also stopped the dead leaves and debris from my trees from going into the pool.It does warm up the water (my pool is not heated), which is a bonus for me. So if you like your water cool, you will need to remove the cover a couple of days before using to cool it down. Overall, this product works great for reducing the amount of evaporation from the pool and helping to keep the pool cleaner. I highly recommend it.Addendum: Now that I’ve had this cover for a year, I’m disappointed to report that the durability is not great and it has shown signs of disintegration — the bubbles are often found floating in the pool. I did see a video showing the exact problem I’m experiencing. I wished I had seen this before purchasing. Although it states there is a five year warranty, when that customer attempted to talk to the company, he was met with resistance stating the information had to still be in the cover itself. Also there is a prorated amount you still have to pay and also the cost of shipping for them to send a replacement. Something to consider before purchasing this product.

Product was as listed and size was perfect. Will see how it hold temp over the months to come.

Do not purchase this product. It fell apart in less than two seasons. Even though the purchase dated June 2023 came with a five year warranty, I was told that my warranty had expired on June , 2025. Really not impressed.

Best solar liner I have ever purchased! It arrived quickly and very well wrapped with no issues. Since I do have a pool design with rock formations and a waterfall, I had to cut it to fit and that was done very easily. I put it in by myself and let the sun soften it up for about a half hour and was able to mold it to the edges/curves where I needed it before I commenced cutting it to size. With our Arizona heat, it doesn't take long to heat up the pool and we have been able to swim late into the evenings as it kept the pool water around 89 degrees and evaporation down!When we want to swim it only takes us less than 20 minutes to remove liner. My hubby and I pull it out half-way where I can rinse with the hose all dirt/leaves that accumulate on top and as he is continuously rolling up this end, I continue to rinse off the remainder of the liner until we have it clean and totally rolled to put off to the side for swimming. It is not heavy, bulky or that much of an inconvenience as I though it would be. We have many trees, plants and bushes on our property so the pool has needed continual cleaning due to the strong winds we have had lately and lots of leaves and flowers falling in it and making quite a mess of things. This liner has made it so much easier to maintain and I couldn't be more grateful as it has spared me hours of pool maintenance and allowing late night swimming. Sometimes, I don't have to put the cover on for 2 days because the pool's water is still very warm from the previous day. This liner is much sturdier than some I have seen at the local big box stores and a much better price through Amazon.So far, I am very pleased with this purchase and the feasibility of this liner is worth every penny. In the past, I always bought solar rings, but they did very little in keeping out debris and got dirty as leaves clung to them. They were also either deflating or getting rusty as water got inside the rings and I found myself replacing them because they rarely lasted beyond one season. Not only were they a bad investment, but they did a very inadequate job of heating up the pool and that was enough incentive to try out this solar liner.I have had this cover on for a month and will provide a follow-up when the season ends to evaluate its durability. Presently, I am very content with this purchase and its quality!

I was two years into pool ownership before investing in this pool cover. During spring and fall it's usually hot enough during the day to swim but evening temperatures drop into the 60s. As such, during these months, the pool temp never rose above 75 degrees. Even in the summer our pool never rose above 82.This pool cover is a game changer. Here we are at the end of April, cool evening temperatures and our pool is 87 degrees. It also prevents evaporation, chlorine stays stable, and the lack of direct sunlight keeps algae under control. Easily the best purchase we have made for our pool.
