Nice Pyx for taking Communion to the home bound
We had a collection of Pyx's at my church for people to take Communion to the home bound, but unfortunately they sometimes forget to return them. I bought two of these to leave in the sacristy for the parishioners to use. I was pleasantly surprised how nice they are made, and was very surprised to see they are made in the good old USA. They are large enough for the standard size host and will hold probably about 6 for those who take Communion to multiple people. The catch works well, the lid stays closed until you press the release.

Is pretty to look at and does the job. It opens and closes easily and is secure when closed. I like the size is just big enough around to fit the host and fits easily into my pocket

Excellent for its intended purpose
I wanted to create my own traveling mass kit so that if I'm traveling by back pack or am on vacation I can still take communion on Sundays. This is an excellent little device for that. I'll just have to shop around for hosts that are small enough to fit in it thought its really tiny. It's almost like a pill case size. Slightly bigger if your taking any kind of medication. But it states that it hold 50 so I bought a thing of them that is 10 times its size not understanding the difference. Other than user error. I would highly recommend this product.
