Nice blade, straight + sharp, handle scales/ pins are all flush and nicely finished. Every bit of 18 inches and looks great. Comfortable grip and it feels tough.

Well, the case is a beautifully stitched and decorated piece of strong and sturdy leather made to contain a great work of knife making. The blade is seriously sharp and definitely functional, and a great top heavy piece of skill that gives me a warm feeling of security and we'll being in just grasping the smooth mixture of wood, hilt, bolsters, and pummel; in a handle of flawless control and security. Mine has a pronounced sideways creak through the hilt that must be from an unbalanced hilt fit, and a rub mark that accents the back spine near the hilt, but that's not enough to make me return the knife considering the generous attributes against the price. A great buy I'd say.

Excellently made

Received this today and I was pleasantly suprised. The knife is huge, it fits great in my hand, I have big hands, and it came wrapped in plastic and properly oiled. It is razor sharp, cuts through cardboard like a warm knife through butter. Yje sheath is also nicely made and it is beautiful as well. I can't wait to start using it. It's heavy and sturdy, I can recommend.

First of all, for the price the item is acceptable but barely. Mine didn't pass the paper test. If you just want big and sexy it meets the marks. First impressions include; the design on the sheath could be more prominent. Its not pressed into the leather very far. The blade itself is pretty solid and without defects. The handle is way to big! I have big hands and there is no way to properly use the finger grooves. That said its not too uncomfortable. It feels very front heavy, not sure of the gaurd and pommel material but its not heavy enough whatever it is and mine has scuff marks on both out of the box. To top it off the handle has a crack that may or may not eventually become a problem. Coulda been a 10 but its a 6.

This thing is a huuuge solid blade. Edge was decent out of the box and edge retention seems good after a little chopping. Time will tell how it holds up after more use. As shown in the video, the guard came loose after the first swing on a branch. Doesn't seem to effect functionality, just annoying. If you have small hands the finger grooves might not be comfortable. That being said, I LOVE this thing for $100. Its a gigantic beefy blade that feels like a short sword. I'm happy with it. Would have been 5 stars if the guard wasn't loose. (Esee5 at the top shown for size comparison)

It's almost perfect, very sharp the weight is excellent to cut woods to survive another cold night of camping. But after 3 or 4 swings the guard starts wabling . It can do the job with extra noise.

Great knife love it but I didn't receive the sheath for it not very pleased about it, pretty sure someone opened the second box because the tape was cut, maybe took the sheath hmmm
