I went with the ebony wood and it's a great looking knife. I'm impressed with the blade and how well it maintains a sharp edge, however the problem I had was the screws on the pocket clip came loose after only about a week of carrying it.

Arrived very sharp and in perfect condition. Feels great in hand. Locking mechanism quickly broke in and has smooth action. Has held edge well during heavy everyday work use. Intuitive, easy to use, and very attractive - highly recommended.

Great knife and has maintained sturdiness but be aware that blade can easily disengage when latched onto your belt. Do wish it was somewhat larger but overall nice piece.

Absolutely love this knife, I went with the ebony wood one and I love the look of it. It became my new work EDC mainly because of the size and weight. Its not to big and not to small, doesn't have that heavy feel to it when in the pocket like some of my other knives. So far the only issue I have ran into was when I went to resharpen the knife. I have some Sharpal diamond stones and DMD diamond stones for a fixed angle system. For whatever reason I found that the freehand way on the Sharpal and stopping at a1200 puts a hair splitting edge on it and holds up pretty well. Hopefully this review helps someone out there with keeping there knife nice and sharp.

I was nervous. I'm, admittedly, a knife snob. I bought this on an impulse to see what the CJRB brand was about. Pros- great weight, crisp opening and closing. Smooth action. The lock mechanism works well every time. Blade was very sharp from the factory. Blade design is cool and different from standard folders. Came with a zipper pouch case and a cleaning cloth. BONUS! Cons- only one, no spring assisted opening. Still rated a 5 star, because I am very pleased with the purchase.

Just an awesome EDC. It’s lighter than I expected it to be yet the blade still has some beef to it. I love the Bowie style blade design. Super smooth, one hand open and close. I have hundreds of knives and I can honestly say that this knife is the absolute sharpest blade out of the box that I have ever purchased. It also comes with a nice felt lined carry case and a polishing cloth, which I have no use for, but shows that CJRB does a little extra to give you a quality product.

New brand for me. I've had various knives in price and style from $5 throwaways to $600 handmade. I'm impressed with this CJRB pyrite Bowie. For a "plain" pocket knife, it has a classy look, sexy blade, nice deep carry pocket clip and overall clearly solid construction. I would recommend it as a good EDC option for anyone looking for a knife better the the $25 range with the $100 range quality. I use my knives so time will tell on performance, but all indications are pointing towards satisfaction.

This Is Easily my favorite knife to carry at work, came very sharp and gets the job done!!!
