what is the shelve life?

We decided to refrigerate ours... been over 90 days and holding well.

Does it have to be refrigerated when opened?

No it does not have to be refrigerated when open but remember that the A5 wagyu is liquid at room temperature so if you would like to keep it a solid then it needs to be in the fridge.

What should the consistency be? This one is liquidy. I expected more of a solid Crisco / icing texture.

Wagyu tallow is loser than Crisco. No smell. Should be fine if it does not smell rancid
