Made for Fender instruments in a variety of vintage-style and contemporary models. Chrome-plated steel tremolo plate with stop tailpiece. "Fender" and "Pat # 2972923" are stamped into the plate. Assembly also includes tremolo lock button and tremolo arm bushing. Note: Assembly is designed to use a 10/32 threaded tremolo arm instead of the traditional pop-in style arm. Assembly does not include tremolo arm or tremolo-to-bridge mounting screws. Fits Classic Player (Mexico) Series instruments. Will also retrofit to American Vintage (US) Jaguar/Jazzmaster models. Satisfecho con la compra en general, solo hay que tener en cuenta que la palanca de tremulo de stock que viene con la Squier jazzmaster classic vibe no es compatible, no es un gran problema pueden usar el conector de la base de tremolo original, el reemplazo es muy sencillo. Upgraded this (and the saddle) on a J Mascis Jazzmaster, and it makes a silky smooth, stay-in-tune difference. It's the first upgrade you'll want to make on a Squier.

Disappointing misinformation
It wasn’t clear that it wasn’t the American made bridge and I ended up getting a made in Korea which I already had. I wanted to return it but didn’t want to go through all the hassle of sending it back from Israel. I think it’s a must to state the country of manufacture. This is disappointing.

Good Fit!
It dropped right in my 2024 60's Vibe Squire Jazzmaster

Made in Korea for Made in Mexico Models
I believe this is for Made in Mexico models. Had nice weight to it, nice plating. It uses a screw type arm versus the stock push in vibrato arm. I just swapped it over to the stock one which fit perfectly, so I didn’t have to buy another arm and it functions great. The spring retainer is steel versus brass. In my testing, it doesn’t affect sound at all, but some swear by the bronze one. The spring included is nice and firm. The big con , and why I gave it 4 stars, is that this one is more expensive than the made in Japan version. I would just recommend getting that one, but if you have credits saved up like I did, this one is a nice unit as well. (Note: the screws included seem a bit long, I have a thick alder body custom JM and they seamed too long. so I just used shorter the stock ones I had)

Great value - stays in tune when set up right
Great value - replaced a dodgy copy trem which I could never get to set up properly. The jag/jazzmaster trem isn't ever the easiest to set up, but this one worked great - with the locking button set up correctly it stays in tune.

Way smoother and quieter than stock Squier CV trem
Put this on a 70s CV Squier Jaguar. It looks identical to the one I removed, but it’s slightly heavier. I was skeptical it would help all the weird vibrations on the Jaguar, but it fixed them all and is way smoother and quieter than the stock trem. So yay! Recommended for Squier CVs. Just remember to buy a threaded trem arm for it.

Very good quality
Fast shipping, which is always appreciated. Doesn’t fit a push in tremolo bar. It’s designed for a threaded tremolo bar. I’ll see if I can swap out the original when I change it. That’s the only reason I gave it a four.
