Dove Dermacare Scapl Anti-Dandruff Conditioner, Dryness & Itch Relief, 12 fl oz (Pack of 2)

I was stuck between four and five stars For this product. First of all, I will say I’ve been using the shampoo version for a couple of years now and it really works. I have dandruff that’s associated with my eczema and this has almost worked better than the prescription ketoconazole shampoo which was the only thing that worked in the past. Head and shoulders, selsun blue, and t-gel didn’t work for me but this is different. Because I use this conditioner with the shampoo, I’m not sure how effective it’d be on it’s own, but it is moisturizing to my scalp and once I rinse thoroughly, it doesn’t leave my hair greasy or oily, and I already have naturally oily hair. The one down fall is that it does not make my hair as shiny, soft, smooth, and lustrous as regular conditioners like Pantene, for example. I just alternate between this and other conditioners and it works out (sometimes I use the dove conditioner on my scalp down to my neck and then use regular conditioner on the remaining foot of my hair below the shoulders, but you don’t need to be that extra lol). Anyway, great product and check our the shampoo too!

The best shampoo I've used in a long time. I don't have a bad dandruff problem but I do have a weird itchy but oily scalp. This has helped on both accounts and I find I'm having to wash my hair less frequently because of it. Smell is fantastic

good conditioner

A very nice shampoo, thick and creamy with a pleasant smell! So far my scalp does not itch!!

My daughter had eczema on her scalp and we were using J&J shampoo per dermatologist orders. Now that she is 10 and her hair is less like a little kids, that shampoo wasn’t cutting it. We tried others and they made her head super itchy. I ordered her this and she LOVES it. Works so well for her and it doesn’t agitate her scalp like others did. I also use it occasionally and it works great on my hair too.

I love the fresh fragrance & softness to my hair. I did not have dandruff but an itchy scalp but no more after 1 use.

This stuff smells great! While it keeps my scalp moisturized, it's not particularly good as a hair moisturizer. My hair feels dry and sticks up. I think it may cause my eyes to sting, too.
