Good quality!
I ordered this chess board game for my 8-year-old niece as a birthday gift, and she absolutely loves it! From the moment we opened the box, everything was very easy to set up and use. The instructions were simple, which made it perfect for beginners and kids who are just starting to learn chess. What impressed us the most is the training mode. Since she is still a beginner, she has been practicing with the AI every day, and she keeps telling me how much she’s learning from it. It’s amazing how interactive and educational the game is. The AI helps her understand moves, strategy, and basic chess skills in a fun way without making it feel difficult or boring. Another feature we really love is the magnetic chess pieces. They stay in place very well, so she can easily carry the board from room to room or even bring it on trips without worrying about losing pieces or making a mess. The board size is also perfect. It’s not too big or too small, making it comfortable for kids to play. The quality feels great for the price, and it has become one of her favorite gifts. She has been playing almost every day since she got it. Overall, this was definitely a worthwhile purchase, especially for children who are interested in learning chess in a fun and modern way. Highly recommended!

Smart, Fun & Educational
It’s a perfect combination of entertainment and learning. The talking feature makes the game more engaging and interactive, especially for beginners and kids, while still being fun and challenging for adults. The board is well-made, responsive, and easy to use. The smart functions, multiple difficulty levels, and training modes make it great for improving chess skills at any level. I love how it provides guidance, feedback, and suggestions — it really feels like having a personal chess coach at home. It’s also great for solo play when you don’t have a partner, and the computer opponent is surprisingly smart.

Great entertainment
My 9-year-old boy recently became interested in Chess. He always invites me to play with him every evening. I saw this product, and I think he would really enjoy it. Built in AI intelligent algorithms with 18 different levels for beginners to intermediate players. There are also 3 modes, training modes, improving skills mode and play with friends mode. Perfect for him. He can stay there for hours with this chessboard. This would be a great gift for someone who likes Chess games. I would recommend it.

A few potential changes could make it better
Theres a few things that make this product a bit obtuse. First and foremost is when youre playing match mode, a bright blue light keeps flashing. Trying to concentrate, i have no idea why anyone thought this was a good idea.. Second off, the pieces (namely bishop and pawn) look too similar. With the modeling they use, a few times ive mistaken one for the other. Especially with glass pieces which are somewhat seethrough. Made a mistake? Sometimes the game makes a mistake for you and forces you to move to a spot you didnt want. Not in a check mate kind of way, but it somewhat glitches out. Happened to me twice in 4 games. You may think hitting the button that goes back to the previous move is the answer, but youd be wrong! Trying to use the back button is a nightmare. Constantly blurting the "err-err" as youve pressed a button that wont let you do what you want. As well, trying to choose a difficulty level is ridiculous. Instead of saying "level 1... level 2" which the manual tells you the ELO rating for those, or displaying highlighted squares for you to see "okay 3 squares, level 3" it kind of does this but level 10 youll have squares all over the board, sometimes under pieces. Its making choosing a level more difficult than it needs to be. The size is a bit big for carry. I get it, its a computer, so I cant complain there. But it feels like if I put it in my bag to take anywhere and its not in its way-too-oversized box then itll get crushed. Thats just the feel, mind you. It might actually be very sturdy. Unfortunately i reeaaally wanted to like this board but im having a hard time. On the plus side its a usb charging so theres that. And its a chess board so there's kudos. The board certainly will take you to 1700 ELO. The difficulty level is no joke! But its so uncomfortable to play that its just not great yet. The company did reply back to me and so I am updating the review. I appreciate food customer service and they definitely are prompt.

Awesome chess trainer
Been years since I played chess and this allows me to shake off the cobwebs without embarrassment. Great for a beginner or intermediate players with adjust training and skill levels to play against. The board looks great and the under board led light are awesome. Feels like it's made well and the piece stick during movement. Pick one up for a new or seasoned player

Nice
This Vonset electronic chessboard performs quite well overall. In terms of quality, the board feels sturdy, and the transparent chess pieces are a nice touch, though they have a slight plastic feel. Still, it's worth the price. It's very easy to use, with clear button layouts and helpful LED indicators, making it beginner-friendly and great for learning or playing against the computer. As for value for money, it offers plenty of features at this price point, especially the teaching and hint functions, which are incredibly useful for beginners—it's like having a personal coach without the extra cost. The design is modern and sleek, with a blend of classic and innovative elements. It looks stylish and adds a nice touch to any space. The size is just right—compact enough for a table yet easy to store. Functionality-wise, it supports multiple difficulty levels, making it suitable for players of all skill levels, and the voice prompts and teaching features are very practical. Overall, this chessboard is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to improve their skills. It's fun, practical, and a great value, though the chess pieces' material could be slightly better. Still, at this price, it's an excellent deal!

nice chess
Unboxing the P6 Electronic Chess Computer feels like stepping into a more interactive way to master the game. At roughly 12.6 inches, it’s a compact powerhouse that strikes a nice balance between portability and playability. While the 8.8-inch game area is a bit smaller than a tournament board, the strong magnetic adsorption is a lifesaver—it keeps the game intact whether you're playing on a bumpy train or just moving from the couch to the table. The standout experience is the Training Mode. With its combination of light prompts and voice announcements, it removes the intimidation factor for beginners. Having 200 built-in puzzles and a hint button (?) makes it feel less like a cold machine and more like a patient tutor. For those looking to climb the ranks, the 18 difficulty levels (scaling up to 1700 ELO) provide a legitimate challenge for intermediate players without being impossible to beat. The inclusion of extra queens and a dedicated rechargeable cable shows a thoughtful design for long-term use. Whether you’re using the "Human" mode for a classic two-player match or grinding against the AI to sharpen your skills, this board turns a solitary hobby into a smart, guided journey. It’s a solid, travel-friendly companion for anyone looking to ditch the screen and get back to the physical board. Would you like me to draft a quick "Quick Start Guide" based on these specs to help you get playing faster?

Good for learning
Bought mostly for the grandson (10 yrs) he seems to like it. Have played a couple of games against him and some solo. It's fairly easy to get the hang of and the difficulty levels vary from easy to well beyond my ability. But if the lighting conditions are wrong it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between the clear plastic Bishops and the Queens.
