This powder really helps. I saw other reviewers mention not using the pad that comes with the powder. Therefore I use a small make up brush that can easily be washed. I apply over a healing blemish and it helps it heal and the yellow tint is amazing. I just turned 70 but still have oily skin. This product helps clear the blemish

Best results so I love the product and many others from this line - I am at the 3rd jar of the powder ... this product has worked the best for me - never had an acne problem until I reached the 60's! ... also, considering that a mature skin will not do well with powders and other drying products was something to consider - So, this Blemish Powder: 1. it does clear the acne and helps clear the blemish better that any other product out there - and not just on the face 2. it does not dry the skin, especially the mature one 3. I do a spot application with the tip of my finger to make sure I get the powder to penetrate the blemish and the skin and then I blend it with the puff provided so I do not look like I have whiter spots on my face 4. the acnee or the blemish are less visible even though the powder does not have any tint, is just white. I guess the white of the powder with the pink/redness of the blemish balance each other out .... but for the last coverage, I use another brand face powder, like SkinClearing or other mineral powder. 5. for the rest of my face and after healing I use the Vit C cream/ Serum (I prefer the cream).... apply by patting with my palms so the circulation is also invigorated, I let it settle for a min and then I use the Rose Water Toner that will not only hydrate the skin but will also take care of any excess Vit C cream/ serum and also help penetrate deeper making it more efficient 6. whatever other product you choose, please read the Use instructions because Vit C and products with glycolic acids and other acid exfoliators and cleansers do not go well together ....

I do not know how it works but it truly DOES. I get hormonal breakouts around my cycle and I put this on it and the flare up calms overnight. I use the drying lotion for anything deep or cystic and that also is insane how fast and well it works. I have very sensitive skin but both this and the drying lotion work and do not overly irritate my skin unless I use too much or too often. I but a new tub of this about every 2 years, it lasts forever and works the entire time. I will be a lifetime buyer of this unless they change the formula. Cannot recommend enough!

Greenish color hides reddish zits well. Also blurs large pores. Speeds up healing zits well.

Best ever for quick healing

I personally don't like it just because it makes my tone look stark. I'm light skinned Black with dark acne scars. The powder makes my dark spots stand out. I think if I had issues with redness then this product would be more pleasing to me. Not for us Black sisters with dark spots. This is for my white sisters with red spots.

I bought this to help my combination skin. It is not very aesthetically flattering, as the powder accentuates patches/peeling. I also noticed when it is applied over makeup, it looks cakey and settles in lines if your skin is more on the dry side. The puff is also pretty hard to use and becomes saturated with a lot of product quickly.
