This was a gift for an 11 year old artist. She loved and has made many little trinkets with this. Easy to set up and use.

Bought for my 8 and 10 year old girl and boy, they both LOVE it. I would love it too, but they don’t want to stop doing it, so I just let them. The clay is a little dry that comes with it, so I bought white air dry clay Crayola tubs and it works perfect with it. So fun. They can play around with different techniques. So happy with it so bought more to give as gifts. Wish I had as a kid.

giving 4 stars because of the cover for the thing which definitely HELPS with the mess a little bit.the set up of the machine was simple however loading up the clay is a drag. the tools don't reach as far a they probably could to be more effective in making patterns and designs on your art.clean up is a total drag as well because you've got to wash each piece that made the set up a total hassle.the items that you are able to make are TINY.. really didn't expect them to turn out as small as they do and there are only 3 options to choose from.the quality if the clay is lacking, it dries up quickly yet somehow takes days to completely harden enough to paint..not very impressed with this purchase.

Love it granddaughter and myself! She is 5 and things came out differently than the box, but still fun. The item is definitely as mess free as one can get with clay & water. It takes a little time to get the hang of using the tools in the slot. Being the clay item is small, it’s not a tough thing to start the project over again. I recommend for this age if you are an active participant, but older if you want them to do it independently.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter and she loved it. It is a bit messy but we had a great time with it.

This thing is friggen amazing. I've bought my children a bunch of random crafting things and I'm pretty sure this is the coolest one so far. I opened this up to try it out and boy let me tell you what. I had some big fun with this little wheel.

Super cute got as a gift good price

My 7 yr old received this as a Christmas gift. There are QR codes throughout the instruction booklet for helpful videos on how to make different pieces, but all the videos are marked as "private." So, you are unable to view them. This is NOT helpful, especially since the written instructions are not all that great. There are a few videos out there that you can find, which are quite helpful, but it's quite aggravating when the own company's videos that you are planning to rely on for help, are not accessible. Despite this, my daughter, with a little help from me, was able to make some of the basic vases on her own. They turned out well. So, the pottery wheel works well, but we will probably not be able to make the harder pieces that are shown on the box. Of course, these are the ones that she really wants to make. But there are basically zero written instructions for these. They expect you to watch the videos for instruction. VERY FRUSTRATING!! So for that reason, I am giving it 3 stars. Works well, but you're very limited in what you can create, if you don't have prior knowledge about working with clay on a pottery wheel.
