Easy 5 stars — this Panasonic beard trimmer has been a great addition to my routine. The biggest standout is the number of length settings. It gives you a lot of control depending on the look you’re going for, whether that’s light stubble or a more maintained beard. Adjusting between lengths is quick and simple. It’s also very easy to use overall. The design feels intuitive, and being cordless makes it much more convenient to handle without getting tangled up. Performance is solid — it trims evenly and gets the job done without pulling or irritation. The only downside I’ve noticed is battery life. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be longer, especially if you’re using it frequently between charges. First things first. The trimmer is awesome. It’s smooth and comfortable. Incredibly easy to use and simple to maintain. It has acceptable battery life. It really is an awesome product for the price. I’ve always been a big fan of other Panasonic electronics and they delivered again here. The trimmer’s functionality is outstanding. Unfortunately, the package is held back by one (YMMV) flaw. The charger. It’s a heavyish base station design but with no cord. It just plugs directly into the wall and the trimmer sits vertically above it when plugged in. It’s awkward to say the least. I have to charge it in my bedroom because that’s literally the only outlet in my house capable of the task. Despite the charger I really do like the trimmer. The value and functionality more than make up for the wonky charger. I would recommend this trimmer for sure provided you have a capable outlet to charge it.

Had mine since 2019. It finally died yesterday, after not being able to hold a charge for more than a minute. Overall, no complaints. 7 years for a trimmer is amazing. I used it a lot and really got my money's worth. Will order another one, but with a lithium battery instead of the NiMH battery in the previous model i had. The wall plug is weird, but never had any problems with it or the plastic guard on the cutters.

The plastic adjustable-length comb attachment is super flimsy and the way it's designed it actually moves too much when trimming. I'm afraid that the way it attaches, and given the cheap plastic with which it's made, this comb attachment will be the weak point that breaks far too soon and renders the entire thing mostly useless. Aside from that, it charges quickly, a charge lasts a long time, and I like that the charger plugs into the wall wart directly without a cable. The unit itself feels solid and well-built. It doesn't make excessive noise and cleans easily. It's waterproof which I like. I'm just very concerned about the quality of the comb attachment. I also wish it could go a bit longer, but I can't hold that against them since this is as advertised. All in all, it's worth a buy if it's on a good sale price etc. but otherwise you can probably find something more well-built.

I already had a Gillette And a Remington cheap trimmer to trim for a light stubble But I was growing to a long beard so I bought this one. Because as advertised this has 19 adjustable blade length settings. Yes it has, But unfortunately that’s not really. All those numbers don’t do any big difference. I had a 3 weeks old long beard and when I used number 5 setting on this trimmer it took a big chunk off. Like I’m using 1 or 2. And yes i was going top to bottom. I eventually had to shave as this ruined my bearded. It does not matter what number you select, this trimmer works as if I’m running my old trimmers at number 1-2 length. All efforts of growing bearded wasted. It worked like I’m using number 1-2 of my $10-$15 trimmer. Doesn’t matter what number you use, it cuts hair down to very short level. I still gave 4 stars. Because This is a decent trimmer, feels very good in hand and a solid construction. if you want to keep small shadow stubble. But a seems money waste if you’re growing a big stubble or beard. You anyways have to buy something else. I wish I hadn’t put money on this one. Would’ve returned if I had not used it once.

Put this trimmer to replace my old trimmer that died recently. This Panasonic trimmer is highly adjustable and relatively easy to clean with the titanium blades. Would be perfect if it was washable.

The picture and description say that the charging base goes directly into the wall without cables. The product that arrived has a charging base that sits on the floor with a long cord that plugs into the outlet.
