Nova Development US, Print Artist Platinum 25

Good product.

We were running this on a Windows 7 Home Premium x64-based PC with 8Gb of RAM. AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Processor, 3600 MHz, AMD Radeon HD 6670. After we originally installed the Print Artist Platinum 25 it ran beautifully for 2 or 3 sessions before we started to get an error that popped up shortly after it launching which indicated some issues with a supposed favorited file of some sort that's impossible to trace because of the length of the error report that goes well beyond the size of the error window. Immediately I noticed in the error message dubug info. that there were misspellings within the actual code that could be the cause of numerous issues. Contacted Nova Development, and you quickly discover even after a mere 6 days of ownership that the promised limited free support is a ruse. Perhaps you'll have better luck with the company's paid support codes they sell for between $10 - $20, but I'm not going to chance it. The company claims you have 90 days to return the product for a full refund, but they also said I had 90 days support free. Probably costs me $10 to let them know I'm returning it too. As others have said Print Master 25 Premium does become increasingly unstable over time until eventually it adds or subtracts graphics on a whim, throws a fit trying to save or print, crashes randomly without notice, and many other issues that are capable of causing even the most seasoned user of this or similar card and gift creation programs to literally pull their hair out. In all fairness to Print Artist 25 Platinum, I can now assure you... it's just as good as PrintMaster v6 Platinum, and that's not saying a lot. Been there done that too. It seems the last time we were able to get a reliable card creation program that worked as advertised without issues was PrintMaster 7.0 when Mindscape produced it in the early 90s. AND, it still runs flawlessly on a virtual machine using Win95 or later, BUT I don't recommend it because it opens you up to all sorts of other nastiness due to the OS no longer being supported. Very sad... we need a quality card creation program. Won't somebody out there produce one? PLEASE

For over 20 years, I have run a singing telegram company, and used Print Artist for designing our certificates to present at the delivery. I've always found this program easy to use, with tons of images. Easy to use interface, even when you want to import your own image. I was disappointed when I recently bought a Win 10 laptop, and my older Print Artist Platinum was incompatible. I was reluctant to buy it again, but did so based on it's track record. The new version is just as nice as the old. Installation was a breeze, and I was up and running on the Win 10 laptop in no time. For the beginner, this product is easy to use - drop and drag with easy to understand menus and features. For the more advanced user, there are menu options and tweaks that allow even finer manipulation to suit your creative genius.

Good product so far. I am still learning how to use it.

the program is ok, but it has issues. We tried to repair the earlier version because it lost items and froze up often. We decided the software was too old and purchased the updated version. This one also has issues and at times looses content or refuses to save documents. One would question, is it operator error? We have three different individual working with this software and they all have problems on a regular basis. If it is operator error, the software is not user friendly. If the operators are not making mistakes, the software as too many glitches. We use it because we have it. In the future I will look for a better system. On the other hand it was not expensive, I guess you get what you pay for.

I just bought a new computer with Windows 11 and my old Print Artist worked on Windows 10 but not 11 so I bought this. I struggled to get it to work because the new version won't load its images vs. my firewall. I had two antivirus programs in effect and didn't turn off one till tech support and a friend told me to do so. Then it installed rapidly.

The software installed and,works perfectly. I use Windows 10 in my PC. Very good software for the price.

I have had nothing but problems with this software since day one. First I had issues with loading it. I returned one copy and got another. When it finally did load it after about a dozen tries it loaded mysteriously. Now I can not pull a picture into the program from my computer file the program shuts down. So I thought ok maybe I can reload the software. I put the CD in the slot try to pull up the execute and it does nothing. And I mean nothing. Makes me wonder if this program is real of bogus. What a waste of money for now on I will pay full price and order software from an actual software company. I am so discussed with my purchase. I ordered two the other software that one I could load on my first try but now wondering if that was just pure luck but who knows if I need to reload that if I needed to. Should not be that difficult to load a program. Yea will never ever again will I order software from any seller on line. I keep finding more and more that parts of the program does not work. Such as where you can start point to print your label does not save. So it always starts at the right side.

I like to make my own greeting cards that I send to relatives and friends, This allows me to personalise them, often including a photograph. Print Artist cards always have a reaaly good finished appearance!
