Perfect and Easy to Setup!!!
Perfect for a chicken nursery or duck enclosure. It was super easy to put together, took about 30 to 45 mins with two people but could manage alone if necessary. Comes with several doors for entry, a nice tarp for the top ( not shown) and purch poles for the chicks. They provided more than enough zip ties and extra closures to secure the doors. You can easily attach lights and feeders if needed. We used a large tarp on the bottom with hooks/clamps to keep the bedding inside. The chicks love all of the room! Overall great product, good quality and will use for my future ducklings.

Temporary shelter for baby chicks
We bought this to transition our baby chicks in with our older chickens. This fits perfectly into our run. We have 9 chicks in here and they have plenty of space. It was easy to assemble. The quality is good for the price. There is no predator protection to this so you may need to modify in order to make it safer. This is a good temporary solution for the transition into the large coop, but I'm not sure if it would work long term for us.

Works well for quail, with hardware cloth added
We bought this for quail. It's similar to the metal dog crates, but the metal is a little thinner. Smaller quail can fit right through the openings, not to mention predators like raccoons can reach right in it and grab your animals. I knew this before I even bought it though, and already planned to add hardware cloth to it. If you own chickens, ducks, rabbits, quail, or any other prey animal, you're going to have to reinforce just about anything you can buy commercially. So I don't fault the product for that. For the price, it's a great starting point. It was relatively easy to put together. It's helpful to have a second person though. My only real concern with this product is the doors are a bit flimsy. The latches work fine, but being thinner metal, the doors could potentially be pried open. All-in-all though - with adding hardware cloth - I think this should keep our quail safe. It's got an attractive appearance and is a good value for the money. I would buy it again.

Good for the price but not great for young chicks just leaving the brooder box.
Definitely bigger than what I needed it for but it's ok because it will actually work well in the long run. I originally bought this for my grow outs that where too small to roam with the older girls but too big to be in the brooder. I figured it would be great protection for the little birds and they could start socializing with the others. It took me a minute to figure out how to put it together because the instructions where a bit confusing to follow a first. After getting it together I can say it wouldn't do well for predator protection by itself. It is on the flimsy side but most pens like this always is. It almost reminds me of a portable dog playpen which is good because it's light and easy to move around by myself. It's definitely not good for standard size chicks or young turkeys under 12 weeks or really and young slender chicks. My adult hens can fit there head between the bars easily and a few of my chicks where able to squeeze through the bars and escape within seconds of me moving them into it. Buyer be warned if you are planning on buying this for grow outs like I did. With a little fencing, zip ties and ingenuity, it would work for younger chicks.

A bit to expensive
Instructions are pretty difficult to follow and if you miss place them the vid is even harder to follow. The picture are hard to make out and the vid goes to fast this entire review could be about how horrible the instructions are. BUT theres more to it. We were missing a bar. But have made due. The measurements are pretty close if not spot on. I think it should be taller. Its not any better or any worse than any other basic cage so the build is well basic. Basic bars that could be closer together. But are acceptable spacing. Its a bit high in cost but finding (i got the largest option) a cage large enough has been difficult. Absolutely everyone sells chicken cages lie about the amount of chickens they can humanely hold. Thats what i got this for. Chickens. So thats what my review is based on. Absolutely wouldn't hold any other animals. And definitely isn't keeping anything out. This cage would have to be inside another cage to be sturdy enough to use past a chicken field trip into your yard. Its to lanky to be a tractor. Its incredible long. A bit to short and awkwardly narrow. 21ft by 30 or 40 inches makes for an odd shaped contraption. I really dislike everyone using "keychain" type laches instead of actual locks. Its held together by zip ties and thats an issue on its own. But if you also raise rabbits you probably have the necessary tools to fix that problem. Its not heavy and easily could be knocked over by wind. The tarp isnt the best either and only overs the top so being rain resistant is irrelevant as none of the sides are covered from rain. I guess if you don't have any wind at all in your area this would work but again its an easy work around. Over all a bit pricey but all there is at this size. You definitely want these bars over others with their rounded holes with easily breakable twist metals. The holds to keep it on the ground are also to short so its easily lifted by say a raccoon. Still end of the day best option.

Great for the price but not a secure coop or run
For what it is, I found this cage to be very well designed for the price. Easy to put together, the multiple doors are so helpful, and lightweight to move it around the yard. The rain/sun cover fit well and was easy to install too. I used it as a daytime quarantine pen and will use it as a chicken tractor going forward. It gave me peace of mind with hawks circling, gave the chickens plenty of room to move around during the day, and was easy to move to a new section of yard when they ate all the grass in one space. I definitely would not trust this cage to keep my chickens safe at night though. They went into a small dog crate in the garage at bedtime until they were ready to go into the regular coop and run. This will not protect from raccoons, rats, weasels, or coyotes. The spaces between the wires are too big and the bottom is totally open, leaving animals inside totally vulnerable at night. (Also, the stabilizing bars will not work as roosts for chickens, you need something with a much bigger diameter. ) In general, I am happy with this purchase for the uses I have for it, but would warn anyone new to chickens to not rely on it as a permanent ourdoor enclosure or you will almost certainly lose your animals to predators

Super Cage!
It was easy to put together, and has held up (6 months or so). We put it outside and put our half-grown chicks into it to get some sun and grass. They loved it. We could move it to new grass easily. The only problems were that we wish the center strut was not a round wire---the chicks wanted to perch on it, and it was difficult for them---AND that it was hard to get them out of it. It has at least 4 hatches, but the chicks would run to the corners and make it difficult for us to catch them to bring them in for the night. Obviously, if they stayed in there, it would be perfect. You can put feed and water in thru the hatches just fine. But we had to get them out, and so I had to crawl inside by lifting the whole end up, stay crouched, slide awkwardly on cardboard under that center support and try to reach the chicks, and then hand them out to my husband one at a time. Definitely awkward, but it got cold at night and we couldn't leave them there outside. Still, it's a handy rig for the money! And we can use it to quarantine sick hens or new ones.
