I have been using Arlo cameras for two decades. Arlo was the only provider of non-commercial wireless outdoor cameras for a very long time. Until I bumped into AMTIFO Security Cameras.Before I bought AMTIFO Security Camera, I have tried several similar providers, but unfortunately, I had to return them as they did not work to my satisfaction.I am telling this to emphasize the fact that AMTIFO was not just the first choice, but rather was picked for a reason.Everybody has their own specific requirements, so below are not my recommendations, but rather some of my "must have" requirements.AMTIFO Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor Magnetic (with mobile App) provide/support:- Wireless (WiFi) connection;- Record video in HD or 2K resolution;- Live video streaming;- Night vision in Black & White and Color (no infrared lights);- Record only when a motion is detected;- Temporary turn off on demand (Sleep mode);- Scheduled sleep and so as recording;- Free 1 day Cloud storage. (Full Cloud storage subscription also available);- Record video on local SD card;- The sound is recorded/transmitted crystal clear. Optionally can be turned off;- Extremely easy to mount on a metal surface - simply place camera holder wherever you need;- For mounting on other surfaces - the included metal plate can be screwed/glued on;- The holding magnet is very strong. When I tried to clip the metal plate to the holder's base - the only way to part them was to use the according tool;- The magnetic bottom of the holder has protective rubber ring to avoid scratches on a fridge or similar;- For outdoor mounting the protective rubber ring could be detached, which increases the bond between a holder and a metal surface;- In addition (the item I received) came with several offers: Complementary warranty for 24 months (vs. 3 months from Amazon). And one choice from the list of complementary additional equipment. To name a few: Another camera; Solar charging panel;- The access panel hatch is made of thick rubber, which is the best weather-proof hatch I have ever seen in outdoor devices. The charging port has a separate mini hatch for a charging cable;- I chose the Solar Panel as a complimentary equipment. Even in the shade it started charging the camera. Under the full sunlight it charged the battery from 45% to 95% within 3-4 hours;- When I was connecting Solar panel to camara's charging port, I was pleasantly surprised by the design of that mini hatch for charging cable. The hole is narrow and deep enough to plug the end of a charging cable, so it completely protects the access panel from moisture;- The Customer Support service is unbelievably responsive. The replied to me within hours;- Besides the usual screws in the "tool bag" which comes with the camera, they also supply the pin to press the Reset button, which also was very helpful for pressing the miniature Power button;- The setup process is presented in details on a YouTube video.All these, seamlessly unimportant little things - make an important impression.After a test run on the first camera, I have bought 4 more of them.

There is a lot to unpack there, but if you follow me, I know you’ll feel the way I do about my new home security system!!Right off the bat, there are ‘4’ cameras…so you have choices of where to ‘have eyes’ around your home. But they are also ‘magnetic’, which gives you even more options for placement! But ‘what if my house is wood or stucco?’ Amtifo has you! Every camera also comes with a perfectly sized metal base plate for easy installation. Simply mount the plate, and the camera magnet goes right over it! Easy peasy.From experience, I already know Amtifo has brilliant HD capabilities, and this 4-camera set up does not disappoint in clarity in either day or night settings. In fact, Amtifo now is using AI to improve nighttime clarity. Again, things just keep getting better and better!I have not had the cameras up long enough to have had to recharge them, which says something about their longevity on a charge. But because they are magnetic, I can just carry them in and charge them conveniently on the counter; my last exterior cameras I had to run extension cords up to and do the process again when they were done charging. This is a lot easier and faster!!Another cool thing is that since the cameras are running off the homes existing router, using the app, I can see the exterior of my home wherever my cell phone has internet. AND because each camera has a microphone, I can talk to folks approaching. For all they know, they think I’m in the house!There is an app that offers both a free version as well as a paid version with all the bells and whistles. In either case, it’s super cheap for what you get in comfort, security and peace of mind.While the new cameras do offer free 3 day rolling cloud storage, I added 128GB SD cards (at an additional cost). Extended cloud storage is also available through the app.Upon install, the camera/app had me format my SD cards, then update the system’s 4 cameras. No biggie.And lastly, since the cameras are web-based, any future upgrades to the system are part of the initial purchase!Amtifo just keeps making things smarter and smarter!!I highly recommend…

3rd indoor camera I purchased in the last 2 weeks or so. The 1st 2 didn’t come close to my expectations, as they both asked for me to subscribe.NOT for me, so they both went back.This one is spot on and so simple to set up on the App. I’m planning on Just using a SIM card so won’t need the offer on a $3.99 monthly sub.It’s worked great on this our first night using it to learn how its bells & whistles function. So far just still pic’s. but that’s all I need for now to see.I didn’t time the video on my phone using the microphone on the screen that allowed me to speak to whoever is in the room, this being nobody or just myself at the moment, but that worked exactly like I would want.It’s about the size of a baseball, but that works for me as long as I’m getting exactly what I wanted with the purchase, and I certainly got that.Don’t know if I’ll use the magnet aspect of it, but it’s very strong if I did. It’ll never fall off of that.Finally scored what I wanted and it’s not going back this time. 👊🏼
