The beauty is in the design! This beautiful prolapse support brief is effective in creating a firm lower abdominal artificial wall of support that alleviates pain caused by existing hernias such as Inguinal hernia and Femoral hernia and to help in prevention of future hernias. Wear during or after pregnancy including post C-sections for relief from vulvar varicosities, vulvar swelling, and Lymphedema. Overlapping bands built into the it that run through the pubic area providing compression and relief from vulvar swelling Design with built in bands that provide support and compression to reduce vulvar veins swelling allows you to place the garment in the right location and tighten as you need A cotton crotch that also works as a shield sleeve that would be very helpful and convenient. Hot Cold Therapy Gel Pad: Sold separately We asked, what garment would we make to help women that suffer from vulvar varicosities, whether during pregnancy or not, that suffer from prolapses, and that would help those that have hernias or may get them? We looked around and found a lot of contraptions that were made of elastics wrapped around and around and we said no thatโs not it!. We need a garment that is just that, a garment, a boxer brief, a panty that may be worn everyday just the same way women wear their regular underwear already. So we went to work and created it. The Underworks Vulvar Varicosity Support Boy-Leg Brief is made to be highly effective in alleviating pain and reducing symptoms associated with vaginal swelling. Also known as vulvar varicosities, these are varicose veins at the outer surface of the female genitalia (vulva). They occur most often during pregnancy. As a result, blood pools in the veins of your lower extremities as well as your vulvar region causing vulvar varicosities or Lymphedema. This boy leg brief has two overlapping bands built into the it that run through the pubic area providing compression and relief from vulvar swelling and overlap exactly where a floor of support for the pelvic area is created at the bottom. This helps in relieving prolapse such as Cystocele, Rectocele, and Uterine prolapse. The garment is secured at the waist with a drawstring waistband thereby allowing for a lot of flexibility in locating the garment and tightness desired. An inguinal hernia occurs in the abdomen near the groin area. They develop when fatty or intestinal tissues push through a weakness in the abdominal wall. This brief is effective in creating an artificial firm lower abdominal wall of support that alleviates the pain caused by existing hernias such as Inguinal hernia and Femoral hernia and to help in prevention of future hernias. How to wear? Step into the garment as you would regular boxer shorts and pull up to a level that applies the right amount of groin pressure you desire. Tighten at waist by pulling at the drawstrings and fasten with a knot. How to care? Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low or flat dry. No bleach, no iron. How measure your hips? With a tape measure, take a snug measurement around your hips. Vulvar blood blisters and hemmorhoids in pregnancy
I apologize for the long review, but can't stress the value of these shorts enough for relieving perineal pressure and pain during pregnancy! I call them my magic shorts, and have told my doctors, doula, and some other women about them, to please spread the word!I developed severe hemmorhoids, a feeling of overall perineal pressure and pain, and blood blisters on both sides of my vulva in my third trimester of pregnancy! I was in so much pain I would even sometimes cry out in pain while bending over to pick something up, and I have a high pain tolerance. I told my doctor about it, and was told this can be really common to experience, and I wasnt offered any potential therapy or advice on how to manage.... I didn't accept this answer, and turned to internet forums to try to find an explanation and help. I found out through What to Expect and Reddit forums that some women have problems with vulvar varicosities in pregnancy which can cause these symptoms due to decreased venous return, and someone mentioned compression shorts to help. So even though I didn't have externally visable vulvar varicose veins, I figured maybe some counter pressure to help support blood flow just under the skin's surface could still help. After reviewing some options, I purchased these, and I honestly can't sing high enough praise! They have saved me from significant pain, even some noticeable alleviation the moment I put them on, and after wearing them for a week both the blood blisters and the hemorrhoids had drastic improvement and eventually resolved!!!! Please spread the word, and get these for yourself or a loved one in need.Update: these shorts remained essential through the very end of pregnancy, and I put them back on right after labor and delivery and I had an amazing recovery! I was back to walking the dogs and normal function with minimal pain just 3 days after delivery. Everyone was astonished by my quick postpartum recovery and I credit these shorts. In fact, in the month postpartum, I would have some return of swelling and pain if I forgot to wear the shorts for even one day, and all swelling and pain would again dissipate when I put them back on. Incredible.

They do as advertised!
No one told me my organs could start falling out as I age(never even given birth). This was obviously very upsetting. I live rural and take care of my father with dementia so I can't be gone all day for procedures or more than a day for surgery.I'd say if I did go to the OBGYn I'd be rated 3.5. Most of the time I'm fine in the morning but as the day goes on would be falling out more and more often. Fully out is 4, but think that's always out.I put these on when I got them, over my underwear in case I needed to return. They held everything in place!I had to lift and transport a LARGE but not super heavy box from the post office home. I change all of my fathers bed each day and make it and that is an issue, as it includes a big heavy pad, stress alone can make things pop out. Never once came out through all of that with these on.Other days I did have a couple slips but it's far less that without. I'm going to also try a sponge Pessary I bought from the Uk but that will take awhile. Now I measured right on the edge of medium or large for these underware. I've been going down in weight lately so got medium. The belt area is so tight across my lower belly that I thought it might force things out instead. So I've now ordered a large which hopefully will still work but be more comfortable and I'll keep these to use while the large are being washed and if needed to use once I loose more weight. I'll update after I get the large.Hopefully with exercises and some supplementation I'll eventually not need them but now these make me feel safe to exercise.

Seems to do the job !
I have bladder prolapse enough to justify surgical repair. Iโd like to postpone surgery for as long as possible, so I tried these briefs. I like them. They provide strong support with a very firm but flexible flat band, (hidden inside the crotch), that extends front to back. I feel like my prolapse is supposed throughout the day. Not a cure, just good support. The rest of the brief is like a soft yet firm girdle (in a good way) that holds everything in place. My rear even looks better. Sizing is kinda tough. I am a size 12 and the large is very tight, barely doable. I reordered in the extra large size. I wear these with thin cotton or silky panties underneath, so no need to buy more than one or two.

This is a game changing product for women that need support. Provides support and makes it easier to walk and move. They donโt make things go back but they help support it to stop and to make you feel more comfortableJust ordered two more!

A total life changer for me!
I have grade 2 cysto and rectocele and had to give up running because it was just too uncomfortable. Even just walking was difficult. I heard about these shorts in a Facebook group I am in for prolapse support. Admittedly, I was very skeptical how an external garment could help with an issue that was (thankfully) internal only. I have been blown away. The first time I wore them, I was able to do a 10-incline walk without any symptoms, whereas symptoms usually start in around the 20 minute mark. After wearing them a few times with great success, I decided to try going for a run. In the past week, I've been able to run four times. It really feels like these are giving me back a huge piece of my life that I had been missing (I would run for self care and stress relief). They are bulky but so good. Loved them so much I ended up ordering a pair of the leggings, too, and I'm hopeful that they will be just as awesome.

Good product, but runs large
I like this product even though Iโve only had it a few hours. I went walking for the first time in a while, and I felt great. Iโm excited to get back to living life. My only surprise was that the product was much larger than I expected it to be. Iโm 5โ7โ size 12 jeans, and I ordered a large based on my hip measurement. The large is really quite big on me. Iโve pulled the drawstring as tightly as itโll go, but itโs still somewhat loose. I just now reordered in a size medium. I wore my boxer style undergarment beneath my tightest workout pants, and itโs very comfortable. The fabric is thick, but very breathable and stretchy. The crotch area is particularly stiff (not in an uncomfortable way, thoughโ itโs stiff as in supportive & strong) and itโs thicker than the rest of the garment. I was literally praying to find something that made me feel like I could get back to living my life, and even though these are a bit too big, I can already tell this is what I needed (just in a smaller size). I definitely recommend the boyshort/boxer style to any woman needing physical support so sheโs no longer afraid of living life or living in constant fear of making the pelvic issue worse. These are a physical AND mental boost for me. I am keeping the size large, because I believe theyโll work well to wear with feminine menstruation pads. If youโre planning on wearing pads with them, especially the larger/overnight pads, it might be a good idea to order a pair one size larger than what youโd typically need, just for that time of the month.

Should have trusted other reviews.
I was hoping this product would work but just donโt like it. The draw string is very difficult to keep tight. I started a return twice but decided to keep because it was my fault for ordering in the first place.

Highly Recommend!
I have pretty extensive prolapse, and it has become extremely uncomfortable as I wait for surgery. I purchased this product and it has been amazing how well itโs worked. Iโm able to exercise and do other activities without feeling uncomfortable. It holds everything in place. They are also invisible under clothing. Highly recommend!

Enabled me to lead a normal life again.
Fantastic product. Has enabled me to lead a normal life again. Extremely well made and surprisingly comfortable. The suggestion to order one size up is valid. One addition I will make is a soft gripper toggle to the cord as it tends to loosen over time.
