Beautiful art work
This game is beautiful, fun, and easy to play. The cards art is out of this world, but they are a little thin. I am a firm believer that a card game should make sturdy cards since that’s literally the whole game. It’s a great buy for the price and we play it often!

Beautiful Cards and a Must-Play for Social Deduction Fans
Ben says: spooky cards, sneaky friends, and a great night in! Avalon Hill’s Betrayal: Deck of Lost Souls is an absolute hit with my playgroup. The cards are gorgeous — eerie art, great texture, and dripping with atmosphere. Gameplay is fast, tense, and full of those “aha!” moments that make uninformed majority games such a blast. If your group loves hidden roles, dramatic reveals, and a little backstabbing fun, this one’s going to hit the table again and again.

Pretty good game
The is on the more difficult side of learning, but 2-3 play through and it's pretty much figured out. Beautiful art and overall fun addition to the base game, although it can be played stand alone.

Fun game, horrible art that makes it difficult to read
The concept of the game is original and fun, the art, not so much, the art is overwhelming to see and plain ludicrous, it's so abstract to the point that it almost feels like it was done by early AI image creator (not claiming that it was). If the art had been done more plain/traditional, the game would be easier to play. I guess they were going for call of chtulu nightmare art, which if they did, they accomplished it, but sacrificed easy reading

Love this game
Love this game. The art and design of these cards are absolutely beautiful, gameplay is intriguing and fun and is easy enough to learn, definitely requires one or two games to fully grasp though. However, one gripe I have is the font of the cards is difficult to read.
