Amazon Basics Mechanic's Socket Tool Set With Case, Metric Sizes, 145-Piece

I puchased this set a while back and used it for awhile before reviewing. This is a great set at a great price. Starting with the heavy duty case with metal clasps and an extra clasp on each side of the case. The tools are well made perform well.

Great Tools, Durable & Reliable Minor Case Issue I’ve been using the Amazon Basics socket kit for a few months now, and it’s been a great addition to my toolbox. The tools themselves are solid, durable, and have come in handy for all kinds of jobs no complaints on performance. The only minor issue I’ve had is with the case. While it does its job, the way the sockets lock in place can be a bit annoying. Some are really tough to pop out, and others don’t stay in as securely as they should. But overall, for the price, this set is absolutely worth it. The tools are legit

I’ve owned tons of hand and automotive tools through the years and I’m really impressed with this kit . Let me also say that I bought this for a friend who owns zero tools, this was not for me. This is a great starter kit for someone who needs basic hand tools to occasionally remove nuts and bolts, whether at home or on a vehicle. It covers many situations, and for the price you can’t beat what you get. It’s portable, can be kept in a car trunk, on a garage shelf, in a closet, you name it. I like how it has not two, but four locking mechanisms. You have the two clasps on the front, and then two smaller clips on the side that hold it together. You will discover that 1-2 of the tools inside occasionally falls out of their pocket when opening or closing the case, but that’s common on all tool cases of this type. Overall it’s well organized, has plenty of sockets, and I strongly recommend this buy.

Great product

I needed a set with Imperial sizes and this was one of the few available. I've actually been really impressed with the quality. I've used a lot of tools in my time and these are surprisingly good, for the price they are amazing.

The Amazon Basics 201-piece socket set is excellent. It includes just about everything you need to get the job done, and the overall quality and finish are impressive. Considering the price, it's hard to find another set that offers this level of quality and value. Very happy with this purchase!

The set seems sturdy, but no magnetic screw driver heads. Hence it is really hard to screw bolts, especially up side down ones.
