Great fan ! I bought 3 of themI also like the make as I have other appliances from van haus and they never disappoint! I do not find it noisy ! I honestly do not know what other reviewers complain so much! It has to make some kind of noise ! But nothing to worry about ! I do recommend as it is a quality make and a life saver for the heat wave ! Buy when the weather is cold because the price is always lower !

One day i will learn and buy myself a fan in Winter when they are half the price. It seems hard to justify buying one of these in the UK until you find yourself cooking in your underwear for a few evenings as Summer arrives though. I already have a 29" tower fan similar to this but got fed up of moving it room to room when needed so decided to get a slightly bigger one for the living room and move the old one to the bedroom permanently. The one i have i rate quite highly so was looking for something close in terms of performance and quality. It was quite pricey for what it is, but this was partly due to the time of year, when compared to its rivals during the same period, it was a cheap option. Considering that, its a good buy for its price range for sure. Quite sturdy, doesnt look too cheap, a decent enough size to nicely circulate air in an average sized room, but discreet enough to hide in the corner without it standing out too much. Comes with a nice and simple little remote, if you havent had a fan with a remote then this may be a bonus to you, if you have had one, i suspect like me this is now a must have for you. As for the settings, i change between the speed settings which there are 3 of. Low is a nice gentle breeze and produces very little noise, just a quiet hum. I dont like noise at night when trying to get to sleep but this is not too bad especially when its allowing me to be cool enough to actually sleep. Med/High both accelerate a bit more each time to provide a stronger breeze but also a bit more noise to go with it as you would expect. Its not the most powerful fan ever, but the highest setting was ample to make a worthwhile difference on the hottest of days this year. It does the standard oscillation routine and has a timer that can be set any where from 1-8 hours. I tend to set it to 1hr at night so it stays on to help me get to sleep, then turns off. It has 3 modes, which ill describe as 'Sun', 'Tree', & 'Night'. Sun means its on constantly blowing a breeze, Tree means it blows intermittently with a little blast, Night is the same as Tree but blasts for a little longer. I use Sun for everything, but if youre not a fan of a constant breeze maybe you will use the other modes more? It also has a cool Ionizer setting which is meant to help purify the air, as an allergy sufferer I am keen to see how effective this is. Problem is, my allergies have been so bad this year that ive been constantly dosed up on antihistamines and other relief that i couldnt tell you how effective this is as an air purifier yet. Maybe ill be able to test this out a little more in Winter when im not so reliant on other cures. All in all, this turned out to be a decent fan for the price paid and certainly helped make the summer months more comfortable, its not too noisy so suitable for night times, but obviously it does make a little noise still. One downside for me if you plan on using this in the bedroom, is the display, which shows the current settings and the temperature. This is a small digital display with blue LED's and it is on constantly if the fan is plugged in, even when the fan is off, the display remains lit. Not a massive issue but i do not like light in my room at night so luckily for me this one was for the front room as my other one does not have a display. It is handy having one to be fair, it would just be nice if you were able to turn it off though. As i say, not an issue for me anyway but worth mentioning. Good fan, average price, would recommend.

fan is light weight - so good for moving about, nice design, and easy to fix the base - need small screwdriver (screws included). Didn't have diffuser oil so not sure if the scent drawer works or not. good price and quality seems to be good.

Great, can’t fault it, looks discreet and stylish and it pretty quiet whilst being powerful.

After using it for some time, it's about what I'd expect for the price. It came obviously used/repackaged as the cable was wrapped poorly and not where it was meant to be along with being a bit dirty, but didn't want to deal with returning if it worked well. The vonhaus is pretty loud at any setting but especially at max, to the point where it's a bit hard to tune it out when watching something but not impossible and I probably couldn't sleep with it on. The airflow isn't the best, but it's a tower fan so it's meant for distributing air in a whole room. In comparison to other fans, I only have an £80 dreo (£20 goes to app features so essentially £60) and a £20 argos desk fan. Compared to my dreo, it's probably about 3-4x louder for the same air flow and about 1/4 as fast when both are at max. As for a basic desk fan, it's louder for the same air flow if you just want directed air flow. It does feel about the same quality as most generic £20-30 tower fans so it's honestly fine. Overall, it's an adequate tower fan as long as it doesn't come used but if it's on offer and you get a new one then you'll probably be happy with it.

Great tower fan ! It has 3 modes - comfort, natural and night 3 fan speeds. A timer which you can set up to 7 hours. An LED display which turns off after 10 minutes. It oscillates. The best thing is it has a remote control so I can turn it on and off without having to get out of bed 😀 I just bought another one for the living room so I'm ready for the next heat wave !

Brought for the bedroom when we need it cooling down before going to bed or during sleep. On low this fan is VERY quiet and a great selling point. Simple to assemble from the box and simple to operate, one small issue..........Everytime you press the remote you get a loud "beep" to indicate that the fan has done as you asked. This is annoying as when your partner or family asleep they can be woken by the beep and there is no way of switching it off. It only sounds when you use the remote or press a button on the fan. If you could disable the beep at night I'd give it 5 stars.
