I used this on my medium long hair cat. The rake works great! It also removed an unbelievable amount of the undercoat hair. I could not believe how much hair it took out. Now there is hardly any hair floating around my wooden floors!My cat had a couple of matted areas. The rake did not remove them. However, it loosened them enough for me to cut them out. It did pull on the knots which my cat was not happy about. He is a bit of a biter when he is mad. So this made brushing him a bit of a challenge. I had to hold the knot so it did not pull then brush it out. I learned quick to use the gloves to protect my hands and to soothe him while brushing him. He does love the gloves!!The gloves are on the smaller side. Luckily my hands are small and they fit me perfectly. If your hands are bigger, they may not fit. While lying flat, they measure 4 1/2”wide across the knuckle area and 7” from wrist the tip of middle finger. Wrist opening around is 6 1/4” wait Velcro closure so, it can go a bit wider if needed. I don’t know if bigger sizes are an option.Over all, my cat’s fur is shinier, softer and is shedding so much less! I highly recommend!Also, the seller was great in getting this to me as promised!!

It works great especially in fluffy dogs

My Maine coon tabby mix always gets Matted fur near his fluffy butt and tail. Its a struggle and ive tried what feels like every kind of brush. This is a game changer. Instead of chasing him around he actually laid down and let me comb through them. It gets deep into the undercoat where I feel most combs have a problem getting that deep without tugging on the fur. His matts were gone in a matter of minutes. I think how the comb is spaced out breaks it up in smaller pieces. I just combed through very slowly and it worked great. He likes the gloves too although theyre a little harder to get the fur off. I would absolutely recommend this for pet parents with fluffy fur babies.

Works very well for grooming my dog and cat

Best doggie brush/comb I have ever bought. My girl enjoyed the brushing and it removed so much undercoat. So very impressed.

These work great. We have a dog that is skidish, some knuckle head shot him. Bear tolerates both the gloves and the comb. The both do an excellent job removing hair. They are gentle on him.

It will remove under coat from dogs coat. We have a walker treeing hound. She sheds. My biggest con with,the gloves. It's hard to get the fur off of it .

Works well on my dog and the glove is perfect to brush my rabbit

Way better then some brushes I have used for my dog before, this one definitely got all of his under coating and it didn’t take long to do. Highly suggested this brush, and the gloves are a bonus brush afterwards or you can use them to wash your dog and really get into the fur without hurting them.

The velcro tore off with first wear. Otherwise it's ok.

For a double coated dog this is the bomb!
