These are the best for toddlers wanting to learn to cut and having problem holding a regular scissors. The blades are safe - but cut well and the locking capability is great for safety. My grandson LOVES them and my daughter bought some for her classroom.

Great starter scissor for my 2.5 year old who shows left hand dominance. Great size, easy to use. She loves them so much, in fact, that she tried to cut my ponytail off. Thankfully she did not succeed... just keep in mind the button for retracting the scissor blades is not fully child proof & your toddler likely can do it themselves. Would repurchase

They are the perfect size for smaller hands. The spring-loaded assistance makes cutting easier for beginners and those with decreased fine motor strength. I love that the blades retract into the handle making storage and accessibility easier and safer. Exceeded my expectations!

I work with students who are emerging with their fine motor skills. I do miss these don't have the thumb/finger loops. However, these make up for it being able to not gut you in your apron pocket, have a low resistance spring that makes it easy for small hands to squeeze and they pop open again with gentle force that doesn't scare off those young handlers. The cut quite well, and the price is right for a teachers budget that tends to dip in your own pocket.

These have been great for teaching my 3 year old how to use scissors. He has figured out how to slide open the safety feature so I would definitely supervise and keep out of reach when not in use! Great size for my toddler. He uses it with his left and right hand with ease.

Scissors are sharper then expected. My granddaughter started cutting up the cardboard box they were shipped in. Good size for little hand but sharp enough that supervisor is required.

Great for little hands learning to cut. I’m teaching my granddaughter how to cut out shapes, and following the line using these. They cut well, and they’re perfect for kids learning to cut. The regular kids scissors were harder to use, and would overwhelm her. Once she’s learned how to use these well cutting, then we will graduate her up to a pair of regular kids scissors. I do catch my older grandchildren 7-9 using these scissors often instead of regular. They say the scissors are more comfortable in their hands. I do like how they fold up. I would definitely buy these again.

All scisors should be like this instead of the loops. Good for left and right hand, easy, rounded and safe for kids! We love them ! And I bought more flr christmas to give to all the littles one in the family
